Christmas Season TBR Pile

Hello Everyone!

I'm so thankful you're joining me for another Friday here on the Preppy Book Princess :)

I love reading holiday themed novels. Whether it be inspirational, adult fiction, contemporaries, young adult...you name it, I generally love it as long as it's Christmas themed.

I read Christmas stories at all times of the year, but there's something extra exciting about getting to curl up with cozy holiday stories in November and December, and so for today's post I thought it would be fun to share with you guys my current Holiday TBR pile.

Christmas In Icicle Falls by Sheila Roberts: I'm so excited to get to read the last book in this favorite series.

Christmas Tails by Melody Carlson: This was a Christmas gift last year, and I didn't get a chance to read it yet, so I am very much looking forward to diving into this holiday collection about animals.

A Cliche Christmas by Nicole Deese: I purchased this one for myself a few weeks back, and It's probably one of the books I'm most excited about reading.

The Pastor's Christmas Courtship by Glynna Kaye: I love Harlequin's Love Inspired series, especially the contemporary and Christmas stories, so I'm sure this one will be a win win in my eyes.

Mistletoe Prayers by Marta Perry and Betsy ST. Amant: This Love Inspired has me particularly excited as I love Betsey ST. Amant's writing.

Starry Night by Debbie Macomber: This is one of few Debbie Macomber holiday stories that I haven't actually read, so that needed to be rectified ASAP.

The Christmas Candle by Max Lucado: I've read many of Max Lucado's other novels, but I hadn't had a chance to read this one yet, and so this holiday season seemed life the perfect time to do so.

Her Holiday Family by Winnie Griggs: I generally prefer the Love Inspired Contemporaries, but I do like to dive into the historical ones occasionally.

A Mom For Christmas by Lorraine Beatty: One of my favorite tropes in adult books is when kids are added to the mix, so I'm hoping I'll really love this one.

The Doctor's Christmas Wish by Renee Ryan: I'm not typically a huge fan of medical themed books, but I'm still excited to give this one a try.

A Holiday To Remember by Jillian Hart: I've read one of Jillian Hart's other Love Inspired novels and I adored it, so I definitely have high hopes for this one too.

His Holiday Matchmaker by Kat Brookes: This one sounds cute and sweet, and exactly what I'll be in the mood to curl up with in my favorite chair with a cup of tea.

Mistletoe Cottage by Debbie Mason: I adore finding new cozy holiday romances, and that's definitely what this one sounds like to me

The Christmas Cookie Club by Ann Pearlman: I've really liked some previous books I'd read by this author, and this one sounded like another that I'd really enjoy.

Lastly, is Christmas Under The Stars by Karen Swan: I always enjoy her holiday stories and I've gotten into the tradition of trying to read one of hers every holiday season.

Thanks so much for reading guys! I enjoyed getting to share what books I'll be reading during the holiday season with you all today :)

First Line Friday: Carolina Breeze

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you're all having a great week! Mine has actually been pretty good. We've had some really nice days, and my husband and I were finally able to put our garden in, and various flowers and the like. We've also had a couple of lovely, rainy days as well, and I love how green everything is looking in our yard right now. For today's post, I'm excited to once again be linking up with the lovely Hoarding Books  for another edition of First Line Friday. This fun weekly meme simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. For this week's first line, I'm going to be sharing from Denise Hunter's recently released title that I ended up absolutely loving. Carolina Breeze by Denise Hunter: About The Book: A jilted bride. A struggling innkeeper. And a romantic mountain getaway that changes everything. Rising Hollywood star Mia Emerson is looking for a safe place to land in the wake of a public breakup a

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest
