Top Ten Book Couples

Hello Everyone :)

I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you for joining me here today on The Preppy Book Princess.

It's been a very very long time since I last participated in Top Ten Tuesday, but I'm hoping to make more time for this weekly meme in 2019.

If you're unfamiliar, Top Ten Tuesday was first started by The Broke and the Bookish, and you can now find it at That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week's topic is Favorite Couples In Books, and it was one that was really hard to narrow down to my top ten choices. I have so many favorite couples that it would be impossible to limit it to just ten, but the ones I've chosen are definitely some of my all time favorites.

Christy and Todd from The Christy Miller series and spin offs by Robin Jones Gunn:

I love these two, and I especially love that the reader gets to see their relationship from young teens and continuing on through college, marriage and children.

Edward and Bella from Twilight:

I know a lot of readers aren't a fan of this OTP, but they're still one of my faves.

Willow and Corbin from Falling For You by Becky Wade:

I love all of the couples in Becky's books, but I have a particular fond spot for these two. Their interactions are always priceless.

Gwyneth and Gideon from Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier:

Anna and Etienne from Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

Sydney and Adrian from Bloodlines by Richelle Mead

Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen:

If I were to only pick one book couple, it would have to be these two! I still love Elizabeth and Darcy no matter how many times I reread these classic.

America and Maxon from The Selection by Kiera Cass:

Xander and Caymen from The Distance Between Us by Kasie West:

Two of my favorites!!

And lastly............

Ella and Charlie from The Lady and the LionHeart by Joanne Bischof:

This is one of my all time favorite books, and the amazing romance between Ella and Charlie is definitely one of the main reasons why.

I can't wait to read which couples everyone else chooses!

Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day :)

    1. I love all these couples so much. I always have a hard time picking which of Becky's couples I love the most as they're all adorable, but Willow and Corbin are usually the one I end up going with. :)

First Line Friday: Carolina Breeze

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you're all having a great week! Mine has actually been pretty good. We've had some really nice days, and my husband and I were finally able to put our garden in, and various flowers and the like. We've also had a couple of lovely, rainy days as well, and I love how green everything is looking in our yard right now. For today's post, I'm excited to once again be linking up with the lovely Hoarding Books  for another edition of First Line Friday. This fun weekly meme simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. For this week's first line, I'm going to be sharing from Denise Hunter's recently released title that I ended up absolutely loving. Carolina Breeze by Denise Hunter: About The Book: A jilted bride. A struggling innkeeper. And a romantic mountain getaway that changes everything. Rising Hollywood star Mia Emerson is looking for a safe place to land in the wake of a public breakup a

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest

I'm excited to be taking part in another First Line Friday post today, which is hosted by Hoarding Books . I'm especially excited to showcase the title I picked for this week, as I'm definitely loving this particular title that I'm reading right now.
