TBR Book Tag

Good Morning Everyone :) I hope you're all having a great week, and I want to thank you all for joining me here on The Preppy Book Princess. I couldn't be happier that's it finally fall. While I appreciate the beauty that He created in each and every season, fall is by far my favorite. I can't wait for all of the things to come to fruition that I love about this season, and I hope you're all looking forward to many fun things this season as well. Today I was kind of in the mood to do another book tag, and after browsing many book blogs for awhile, I came across the TBR Book Tag. This one looked really fun, and was created by A Perfection Called Books . How do you keep track of your TBR book pile? I'm actually going to use a different answer than most of the other bloggers I saw answer this question. I actually don't very often use goodreads for my TBR list. I prefer using goodreads to keep track of the finished books I've read, and so instead

The Story Peddler by Lindsay A Franklin Review

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. With how many days I ended up having to take off work to rest thanks to my injuries from a bad fall I took, it's probably not surprising that I finished quite a few books more than I'd originally planned on. I ended up reading quite a few amazing books that definitely made my somewhat boring days of resting and healing that much more bearable. One such book was The Story Peddler by Lindsay A Franklin, and I knew as soon as I finished reading it that I needed to post a review of it in order to share about this amazing story with you all. My Bookish Life: Saskatchewan Entertainment Expo 2019!

Happy Wednesday Everyone! I hope you're all having a great week, and that you're all as excited as I am that is finally officially fall! Fall is by far my favorite season, and the months of September through December are my favorite months of the entire year. The weekend of September 14th and 15th,  I had the pleasure of getting to attend the Saskatchewan Entertainment Expo with my hubby and one of our good friends, and I thought for today's post that I'd love to share a weekend in my life post about our time at the expo. I'm going to quickly state that we maybe didn't get to do quite as much at this particular expo as we'd planned on, thanks to me injuring myself a few days prior and having stitches and such as a result. However, we still had an amazing weekend, and I'm looking forward to sharing all about it with you guys! Friday September 13th, 2019: Today did not start out the way I'd planned. Originally I was supposed to work this da

The Painted Castle by Kristy Cambron Review

Hello bookish friends and happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend and that you're week is already off to an amazing start! I'm personally hoping and praying that this week will include my return to work finally. I'm thankful I was able to have some time off to heal from injuries, but I'm definitely feeling ready to go back now. Today I wanted to talk to you all about when a favorite book series finally comes to an end. Part of you is beyond excited to dive into the last book. You can't wait to find out what's going to happen to your many favorite characters but you're also hesitant to pick up the last title as that it means its over, and there will be no more stories about these beloved characters. That's how I felt when I picked up the last book in Kristy Cambron's Lost Castle trilogy. The first two books were beautiful, and a whirlwind to try and keep up with, and I was really looking forward to the third and final title. However,

When We Collided by Emery Lord Review

Happy Wednesday Friends :) I hope you're all having a great week! I'm back after my quick getaway with my hubby and one of our good friends, and it was an amazing weekend at The Saskatchewan Entertainment Expo. We met celebrities, we attended panels, we shopped till we dropped, and we most of all enjoyed being part of the fandom culture. I was a little more limited in what I could do this time because I'm still recovering from the injuries I sustained when I took a bad tumble a week and a half ago, but it was still a really fun weekend. And I'm thankful we were still able to go. I do plan on doing a post about our experiences at the expo with you all in the near future, but for today's post I wanted to review a book for you all that I recently finished.
