My list grows every single year, but a lot of the same authors have been on it for quite sometime.  One of those authors is Colleen Coble, and I always look forward to her new book releases. Sunkissed by Kasie West Review

Hello Friends : ) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Young Adult Fiction, contemporaries in particular, used to be my all time favorite genre. However, I've been growing more and more disheartened with the objectionable content that's making its way into more and more of these stories, and I've been incredibly disappointed in most of the ones I've chosen to pick up and read so far this year. However, Kasie West has yet to let me down with any of the books I've read by her, and I was really hoping her new book would be no exception. She's long been one of my favorite authors, and I hope you'll all keep reading to see what I ended up thinking of her newest release. The Exiles by Katherine Barger Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray you all had a great weekend, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I've been thinking a lot lately about just how much my blog has changed from what it was when I first started it back in September of 2015. Back then, I was much less fussy about the types of content I allowed myself to read, and I pretty much started this blog to share my love of young adult fiction with the world. Unfortunately, as I grew more strict about the type of medias I allowed myself to enjoy, I started finding less and less books within this genre that were actually appropriate. The content in so many of them is downright atrocious, and I have to admit that I literally cringe over some of the books I used to consider favorites way back in the day. It used to really sadden me that there weren't a lot of options for voracious readers of young adult within the Christian fiction genre, and I'm so happy to s

A Gathering Place by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer Review

Good Morning Friends :) I pray you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I love rereading, but I don't always get a lot of time to do so. I quite often have a lot of review books, library books, books of my own, etc to get to, and I don't always have time for rereading.  This year I've been (slowly) working my way through a reread of one of my all time favorite series, The Cape Light series. Most of them I'd never actually reviewed the first time around, so I've been enjoying getting to do so during the rereads. Today I'm happy to get to share with you all my review of the third book in the series. A Gathering Place by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer: Source: Christmas Gift From My Hubby Publisher: Jove Publication Date: February 7th, 2005 Genre: Christian Fiction/Contemporary Series: Cape Light Synopsis: Now that the Cape Light election is over, Mayor Emily Warwick can

That basically means I've been pretty picky with the books I've been reading lately, as less reading time means I really need to try and make sure that I'm going to end up enjoying the books I choose to pick up.
