Sold on Love by Kathleen Fuller Review

Hello Friends :) Happy Wednesday, and Welcome to The Preppy Book Princess. I hope you're all enjoying your week, and also enjoying the start of summer. Summer is never personally my favorite season, but I do feel that God has given us beautiful components of each and every season, and each one does have its unique reasons to enjoy it. I'm currently on a couple of days off from work, and I've really been enjoying giving my house a good cleaning, curling up with some great books, and getting caught up on some book reviews. Today my hubby and I are going to take a much needed date day, and go out of town to spend some quality time together shopping and the like. Before we do however, I wanted to jump on here and share a new book review with you all. Today's review is for the upcoming third release from Kathleen Fuller's Maple Falls small town romance series. The first two were kind of hit or miss for me, but I was still hoping I'd end up enjoying this one. You ca

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm not sure how much I've mentioned this before, but for as long as I can remember, Narnia has always been one of my favorite reads, and one of my absolute favorite fictional worlds. I think C.S. Lewis was an amazing man, and an even more amazing storyteller.  When I happened to stumble upon an amazing sounding book that fictionalizes C.S. Lewis' journey with writing Narnia, I knew it was something I needed to read. Keep reading below for my full review. Almost Everything by Mandi Blake Review

Good Morning Friends :) I pray that today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Did you all have a great weekend? Mine wasn't terribly exciting, as I worked the whole weekend through, but I did get some housework done, and was able to spend some time catching up on my blog. Today promises to be an amazing day though, and that's mainly because of three reasons: 1) I finally have time to curl up with some of the fantastic books I'm currently reading 2) We're finally supposed to have a chillier day with lots of rain forecasted, and that's pretty much my ideal weather day. And......... 3) I get to share my review of Mandi Blake's upcoming release with you all. If you're new to my blog, then I can't wait to tell you all about this amazing release by one of my all time favorite authors, and if you've been here before, then you've probably already heard me gush about

The Souls of Lost Lake by Jaime Jo Wright Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. If I'm being honest, I do still enjoy reading scary stories somedays. This is especially true at certain times of the year, when they just seem so atmospheric and moody for the season.  That being said, I mean scary Christian friendly type of stories, not horror or ghost stories or the like. One of my favorite authors to pick up for these kind of stories is always Jaime Jo Wright, and her recent release was one of my most anticipated reads for last year. I hope you'll keep reading below for my full review to find out whether or not I thought this one lived up to the hype. I've mentioned quite a bit on my blog lately that life has been really challenging lately, and I've been trying to lean into Jesus more and more, instead of trying to rely on my own strength. One such way I've been trying to grow my faith is by reading devotionals, and today I'd like to share with you all a review of a devotional that I read throughout 2021 that I really ended up loving. The Confident Woman Devotional: 365 Daily Inspirations by Joyce Meyer Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. If I'm being completely honest, the last year and a half have been really difficult for me. So many devastating blows have come my way in the last while, and sometimes it's hard to want to stay motivated to keep going.  I'm sure many of you have been through these times as well, and one of my favorite ways of combatting them is trying to draw closer to Jesus. For Christmas 2020, my mom gifted me a new 365 day devotional to focus on during the year 2021, and today I'd like to share a short review of that devotional with you all. Blueberry Point Romance Collection by D.E. Malone Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I have to say that I'm not exactly having the greatest day. Someone who I used to consider a friend hurt my husband and I pretty badly over the weekend, and while I'm definitely not going to go into detail, I am going to say that sometimes it's really hard to turn the other cheek in these type of situations. I'm so thankful for the Lord's help in doing so, cause on my strength I'm pretty sure I'd never be able to do so. One of my favorite ways to get through these kind of tough times is by diving into great books, and then getting to share about those books with you all. I recently had a chance to finish a novella collection from a series I love, and today I can't wait to tell you all about it. If you're interested in checking out my reviews of the other books in the series, you can do s
