A Covenant Vessel by Gina Renee Freitag Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I personally cannot believe today is already the last day of September! Literally, where did one of my favorite months go? This entire month was a whirlwind, and I think part of why it doesn't feel like it should be October already is because it has yet to actually truly feel like fall where I live. We've had a few teases of glorious fall, but right now we're back into an awful heat wave, and it feels like we're right back into summer, my least favorite season. However, I'm hopeful that fall will truly be just around the corner, and in the meantime, I'm enjoying hiding out from the heat wave by curling up in my house with some wonderful stories. A couple of years ago, I had a wonderful lady reach out to me on Instagram about reading her debut novel, and it's become one of my favorite series ever since. I love how this series speaks of standing for Jesus, and doesn't sugarcoat anything about the Christian walk of faith. I've

The Crown's Fate by Evelyn Skye Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I haven't really been reading much fantasy as of late. I have enjoyed many Christian titles within this genre, but I've found the newer secular releases to be much too dark for my liking. That being said, I recently had the chance to read the second book in a young adult fantasy duology, and after enjoying the first book, I was looking forward to trying the next. Keep reading below to find out what I ended up thinking about it. The Crown's Fate by Evelyn Skye: Source: Bought for Myself Publisher: Balzer and Bray Publication Date: May 16th, 2017 Genre: Young Adult Fiction/Fantasy Series: The Crown's Game Synopsis: Russia is on the brink of great change. Pasha’s coronation approaches, and Vika is now the Imperial Enchanter, but the role she once coveted may be more difficult—and dangerous—than she ever expected. Pas

Untold by Vanessa Hall Review

Hello Friends :) Happy Monday, and Welcome to The Preppy Book Princess. I'm Kirby, and I'm so thankful you've decided to join me for another book review. We're on our way into my favorite season of the entire year, and I'm loving the fall chill in the air, and getting the chance to try many new recipes that fit the season, and curl up with my coziest blanket and some really great reads. Today I'm excited to be part of one of my first ever blog tours for Vanessa Hall's recently released Unknown. If you'd like to check out my reviews of the two previously released books in the series, you can check them out using the links below: Unknown Unworthy Before we jump right into my review of the final title, let's hear a little bit about the book, and get acquainted with the author herself. About the Author: Vanessa Hall is an author, musician, and homeschool graduate. Most days, she is reading, writing, or practicing the violin—or trying to find time for a

Judgement Call by E.B. Roshan Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I took a few days away from my blog this past week, as my hubby and I went away for a few days which was much needed and much appreciated. We visited Edmonton, Alberta for almost a week, and enjoyed the beautiful Fantasyland Hotel, the biggest mall in North America, and getting to attend Edmonton's Fan Expo for the very first time. Unfortunately, I ended up getting sick after we got home, and didn't really feel up to doing much of anything these past couple of days. However, today I'm feeling like I might be on the mend, and I'm excited to get back to blogging. I had fun posts planned for the last couple of days as there were three really special days to me that just went by, but oh well sometimes you can't control when your body needs time to heal. However, I am going to quickly mention them here. September 2

The Only Exception by Mandi Blake Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray that you all had a wonderful weekend, and I'm thankful you chose to stop by The Preppy Book Princess today. I'm Kirby, and I'm excited to welcome you to my little bookish corner of the internet. Before I dive into the book review I'm excited to share with you all today, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family on the loss of her majesty, Queen Elizabeth the Second. Growing up, my grandmother was always fascinated with the Queen and the royal family, and it something I ended up learning quite a bit about from her. I always respected how the Queen was bold about her faith, and how she was determined to choose her people over herself every single time throughout her ruling history. She will definitely be missed, and I'll be praying over King Charles and that he will prove to be a fair and conscious leader just like his mother before him. Now let's dive right into today's review. If you

Disney After Dark by Ridley Pearson Review

Good Morning Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Today I want to have a chat about Disney, that will eventually lead into today's book review. If you've been reading my blog for awhile, then you probably already know that I've loved Disney for as long as I can remember. I've loved the movies, the music, the theme parks, the characters, the clothing, etc. etc. I'm one of those weird adults that has a Mickey Mouse toaster, and more Disney shirts than I probably know what to do with. However, the last couple of years you might have noticed I haven't been mentioning it as much, and that's because I was going through some stuff that caused me to reevaluate my love for the company. I have to be honest that until two years ago, I never really understood what the Bible meant about "idols." I had this image in my head of Christians praying to
