Top 5 Wednesday: Fictional Items You Want

Today's topic, Fictional Items You Want, is a topic I know a lot of people were really excited about.

For me, this topic was actually a hard one, as I found it really difficult to pick just five fictional items,


 as it seems there has been so many amazing ones mentioned over the years, but here is what I went


with:






1) The Time Turner Necklace From Harry Potter:

J.K. Rowling has probably created some of the most amazing sounding fictional bookish items of all time, and this was definitely my favorite. I know using it caused Hermione many issues, but I thought it was such an intriguing concept, and as everyone knows from last week, I'm a huge fan of time travel elements in books, so this was right up my alley. I also love how well they replicated the idea in the movies, and it honestly looked almost exactly like I'd pictured it from the books.






2) The Invisibility Cloak from Harry Potter:

I have a feeling this one is probably going to make a lot of people's lists this week, cause let's face it what would be more amazing than having a cloak that can turn you invisible. Once again, J.K. Rowling created an amazing fictional item, that wow do I wish were real lol.






3) The Clockwork Angel Necklace from The Infernal Devices

This necklace is one of my all time favorite fictional items from a book. I love The Infernal Devices (even though I have yet to read Clockwork Princess), and I just thought this necklace was such an amazing addition to this fantastic story combining the Shadowhunter world with the Steampunk world. I'm not going to go into too much explanation about this necklace, cause I don't want to spoil these books for anyone who has yet to read them, but its purpose was amazing, and such an original idea :)






4) The Arcanas from the Lone City Series by Amy Ewing:

I was really intrigued by the concept of this technologically advanced communication devices that resemble tuning forks. It seems to me that they would be a really great device to have handy if you needed to communicate secretly, and would be an awesome fictional item to have on hand.






5) The Runes From The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices

Ever since I first read the Mortal instruments, I've been fascinated with all of the amazing concepts that Cassandra Clare introduced throughout the series, but the runes were definitely the most intriguing to me. How amazing would it be if something like this actually existed, and yes I know it wouldn't do anything for us mere mortals, but maybe it stands to reason that if they actually existed I might be one of the chosen ones with angel blood able to actually use them ;)






Lol this was such a fun topic for this week, and really brought out my inner fangirl on these topics. I can't wait to see what Top 5 everyone else chose, and thanks for reading!
