The Wonderland Trials by Sara Ella Review

Hello Bookish Lovelies :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to drop by The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm so excited you're here. If I'm being honest, with how harsh life has been lately, I've found myself escaping into book worlds more than ever before. There's just so much hurt in our world lately, and somedays being a nice person is honestly hard. I've been on the receiving end of a lot of smallness lately, and I haven't necessarily always been handling it the greatest. I'm thankful for Jesus and my hubby, and also for the many amazing book titles I've been able to lose myself in amidst all the hurt. One of those titles is the one I'm going to be reviewing for you all today. Keep reading below for my full review. The Christmas Tree Farm by Melody Carlson Review

Happy Thursday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. How is everyone else's week going? Mine has been pretty crazy if I'm being honest, as a lot of things didn't go the way I'd expected them to, and I'm left feeling a little exhausted. However, sometimes that's the way life goes, and we've got to learn to roll with the punches, and trust God no matter what circumstances may be coming our way. One of my favorite ways to take a step away from the craziness is to curl up with some great reads, and for as long as I can remember one of my favorite type of books to use as comfort reads are actually Christmas books. There's just something about reading them that makes everything feel cozy and the like, and today I'd like to share a review with you guys for another upcoming Christmas title. This one is actually releasing

Wishing for Mistletoe by Robin Lee Hatcher Review

Good Afternoon Sweet Friends, and Happy Monday :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm excited to welcome you to my little bookish corner of the internet. I'm a little bit later posting today than I'd initially planned, and that's because I had a pretty tough night last night. It's been a rough couple of weeks that kind of culminated with some unexpected news last night, and honestly, sometimes a girl just needs to have a good cry with her mom and her sister. I was thankful to them and especially to my hubby last night who talked me through some difficult stuff. Not the night I planned, but God can work in even the most broken of situations, and I'm beyond thankful to have such an amazing Heavenly Father. And something else that helps when life is tough? Getting to read and review new and upcoming titles by my favorite auth

Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream by David Platt Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've chosen to take the time to stop by The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. The last couple of years, I've been trying to dive into reading more Christian non-fiction titles. I want to read more hard hitting stuff that truly causes me to examine my faith, and not just the fluffy devotionals that are so often aimed at women these days. A book had come on my radar quite a few times that I'd heard both amazing and horrible things about, and I decided it was time to give it a try. I hope you'll all keep reading down below to find out what I ended up thinking about it. Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream by David Platt: Source: Gift From a Friend Publisher: Multnomah Publication Date: May 4th, 2010 Genre: Christian Non Fiction/Christian Living Synopsis: What is Jesus worth to you? It's easy for American Christians to forget how Jesus said his followers wo

Waiting for Christmas by Lynn Austin Review

Happy Friday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I've talked quite a bit on my blog lately about going through some tough times. Well, unfortunately, my hubby and I received some more unexpected news this week on a couple of different fronts, and it's been a tough one to put it mildly. I'm thankful more than ever for a Heavenly Father who provides us so much comfort during these uncertain times, and I honestly don't know how people without faith get through the tough times. That being said, every single day there's still many things to be thankful for and find joy in, and one thing I continue to find joy in is getting to read and review titles for you all. I'm here today with another Christmas book review, and I can't wait to tell you all about this heartwarming, historical tale. I hope you'll all keep reading down

Further Chronicles of Avonlea by L.M. Montgomery Review

Good Morning Bookish Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm Kirby, and I'm so grateful you're here. One of my co-workers yesterday asked me what books I like to read, and who I would list as my favorite author. As I started explaining the many genres I read across, and the many authors I consider my favorite, I realized just how much I appreciate having this little corner of the internet to share with you all. In a lot of ways, I don't really fit into the niches of the book world, as I mainly read Christian fiction, but still do enjoy some secular fiction as well. Within Christian fiction I read across a ton of different genres, and I'm grateful to have so many different options available to me. One genre I continue to love getting to read within is the classics, and today I'd like to share my review for another one of L.M. Montgomery's belov

A Lancaster Amish Christmas by Anne Blackburne, Amy Clipston, Amy Lillard, and Mindy Steele Review

Happy Monday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm excited you're here! Are you a fan of summer? Personally it's my least favorite season, and this year the heat seems to be getting to me even more than usual. That being said, what's the perfect thing to do when it's so hot outside and you need to cool off? Curl up in the air conditioning with an upcoming Christmas release! This may seem strange to some of you, but I typically enjoy reading Christmas reads year round, and I'm always excited to dive into the upcoming releases for the current year. I can't wait to share all about this sweet and heartwarming Christmas Amish fiction novella collection that I adored. I love Amish fiction, and in fact, Amish fiction were some of the very first titles I first read within the Christian fiction genre. I hop

Between Flowers and Bones by Carolyn Leiloglou Review

Happy Friday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm always excited to have you here. If I'm being honest, I've never the biggest fan of summer. I don't enjoy the heat, the excessive crowds, the grumpy people that seem to all of a sudden appear from everywhere, yeah it's just not my favorite. We've been under heat warning this entire week again, and it's unfortunately supposed to continue throughout the weekend. I plan to spend most of this weekend (apart from working) swimming and hiding out in my air conditioned house reading my Bible, watching Youtube, catching up with some housework, and curling up with some more great reads. And speaking of great reads, I recently had the chance to read another one of my 2024 most anticipated releases , and today I can't wait to tell you guys all about it. H
