I'm excited to once again be joining up with Revell Publishing to promote one of their wonderful recent releases. I've always enjoyed the titles I've read by Amanda Cox in the past, and I couldn't wait to give another one of her books a try.
I can't wait to tell you guys all about this enchanting title that I hope you'll end up loving as much as I did. Without further adieu, let's jump right into today's review.

My Review:
I've enjoyed every one of Amanda Cox's beautiful stories, but Between the Sound and Sea is by far my new favorite, and I honestly never wanted to see this captivating story come to an end.
I've always been someone who loves stories where a mystery in the present is connected to something in the past, so I went into this one with high expectations, and I was not left disappointed. A beautiful story about the way our pasts can shape us into the people we become, and how our Heavenly Father is always capable of shaping our brokenness into something beautiful if we're only able to let Him, this one was truly everything I could have wanted.
The romance is tender, swoon worthy and heartwarming, the mystery kept me guessing and engaged right throughout, and I loved how we're given a small POV from an elderly man who's determined to make right a wrong he did to a friend a lifetime ago, as it was definitely something a little different than the norm from this genre.
Joey was a character that was easy to root for. It added an extra dimension to the story about how her sense of worth was tied up in the family trauma she's tried for years to correct, and how a big part of her still aches for the time that life seemed simpler, and everyone seemed happier. A heart wrenching illustration of the fact that sometimes life doesn't go the way we want it to, but it doesn't mean our Father has neglected us in our time of need.
A beautiful story I had a hard time wanting to put down, I can't possibly recommend it enough, and it's now officially going to be on my list of my favorite reads of 2024! As someone who has always been fascinated by lighthouses, I loved getting to read a faith based romance with mystery elements surrounding one of these historic structures, and it definitely did not disappoint.
Final Rating: 5/5.
I can't possibly recommend this wonderful story enough, and I wholeheartedly feel that it's this author's best work to date.
