Autumn from the Heart of the Home by Susan Branch Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you chose to stop by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. If I'm being honest, today has been an absolute trainwreck! I got some absolutely horrible news from my job, my husband had a lot of work drama of his own, and we got some devastating personal news this week as well. I'm also trying to type this up while attempting to put a spaghetti dinner on the table for my hubby and I after a long day at work, and if I'm being completely honest, I'm not in the greatest mood. However, I know that we all have these days, and I'm trying to overcome the ickiness by counting my blessings, spending time with Jesus, and curling up with some really amazing books.  Which leads me right into today's review. Previously I had read Christmas from the Heart of the Home by Susan Branch (review here), and I didn't end up loving it as much as I expected to. I was still wanting to

Plain Change by Sarah Price Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. One of my all time favorite genres is Amish fiction, and I've honestly been reading titles within this genre since I was a child. Two of my first forays into adult Christian fiction were Janette Oke's wonderful books, and the amazing Amish fiction titles by Beverly Lewis. Ever since, I've loved discovering new to me Amish fiction authors, and there's been so many amazing ones that I've fallen in love with their books over the years. A couple of years ago, I read my first title by Sarah Price and I was instantly hooked. Her stories were sweet, original, and had me never wanting to have to put them down. Since I've always been a sucker for stories that make use of the "famous person falling for the regular person" trope, I was excited when I discovered that she had an Amish fiction series that emp

Until Our Time Comes by Nicole M. Miller Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I pray you've all had a wonderful week, and that you're all looking forward to the weekend. My week has been slightly on the stressful side and our area has also been under extreme heat warnings for the past few days. Needless to say, I've been enjoying spending some time curled up with my book in our nice air conditioned house. I'm not the biggest fan of summer in general, although there is always something to appreciate about each of the distinct seasons that our Heavenly Father has blessed us with. Today I'm going to be sharing with you all my review of a recently released Christian historical fiction title, set during World War Two. I hope you'll all keep reading down below to find out what I ended up thinking about this much hyped book by other book bloggers. Until Our Time Comes by Nicole C. Her Part to Play by Jenny Erlingsson Review

Happy Monday Sweet Friends :) Wherever you're reading from today, I pray that your week is off to a great start, and that you're trusting Him no matter what circumstances you may find yourself in. Today is one of my usual days off from work, and I'm unfortunately still recovering from a nasty virus that doesn't seem to want to go away completely. Last night we had a birthday celebration for my nephew, and today I'm relaxing and catching up around the house. Being sick is never fun, but sometimes it does cause us to take a step back from the busyness, and appreciate the many splendid things that God provides for us on a daily basis. For me? I was just worried not that long ago that I wasn't finding enough time to keep up with my review commitments, and now I no longer have that problem since I was able to finish several while I was under the weather. One of those titles I'm here to review for you all today, and I hope you'll all keep reading down below

Tracking Tilly by Janice Thompson Review

Happy Friday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I've unfortunately been absent from my blog this week as I've been fighting off a nasty bug that I picked up from somewhere last week. I've pretty much only had the energy to go to work, do my housework, and crash, so reading and blogging kind of had to take a back seat. That being said, I did finally find some time (and energy!) to finish another one of the titles from my Most Anticipated 2024 Releases Post , and I can't wait to jump right into telling you guys all about it. I hope you'll all keep reading down below for today's full review.
