The Summer of Yes by Courtney Walsh Review

Happy Friday Sweet Friends :) We've made it to the weekend, and I pray that you've all had a wonderful week. Mine definitely had its ups and downs, but I'm looking forward to the weekend ahead as I hope to get some yardwork caught up, try some new recipes, and spend some quality time with my favorite people. Before I dive into all that however, I'd love to share with you all a review for an upcoming release that I recently had the opportunity to read and review. The Story Girl by L.M. Montgomery Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you chose to join me (Kirby), here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm especially excited about today's review, and I can't wait to share it with you all. I've been a pretty much lifelong fan of Anne of Green Gables , but surprisingly, other than the beloved Anne novels, I've read very few of L.M. Montgomery's other works. I recently decided that this most definitely needed to change, and I picked up a few of her books from the library. Today I'm excited to share my review from the first of those books with you all. Keep reading down below for my full review. The Story Girl by L.M. Montgomery: Source: Library Publisher: Quiet Vision Pub Publication Date: This edition: August 1st 2000. The Long Game by Jennifer Lynn Barnes Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you took the time to stop by The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm so excited you're here :) Awhile back, I shared my review of the first title in Jennifer Lynn Barnes' The Fixer series, and I was truly blown away by just how much I ended up enjoying it. You can find that review here. The majority of what I read used to be young adult fiction, and lately this has not been the case as I've been terribly unhappy with the unnecessary content thrown  into so many of these titles. So when I discovered The Fixer , and ended up completely loving it, I knew I couldn't wait to read the next title in the series. Keep reading below to find out if it lived up to my extremely high expectations. Remember Me Always by Renee Collins Review

Hello Everyone :) Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess. Last year, I started a mission to find a great young adult contemporary read. This without a doubt used to be my favorite genre, but since I've gotten a lot fussier about the type of content I enjoy while reading, I've discovered this genre has taken a huge downturn in the amount of inappropriate content contained within. I've discovered a lot of duds while on this journey to find a great young adult contemporary that's clean and reminiscent of the ten years ago type of YA.  However, today I'd like to share a review with you all of another one of these titles I read along my quest. Keep reading down below to see if this one ended up being the one I was looking for. The Cowboy Who Looked Again by Liz Isaacson Review

Happy Wednesday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. It's been on my heart a lot lately that we've seen such a diminish in the quality of Christian fiction titles, especially those published traditionally. Which is why I'm extra appreciative of any author who is continuing to put Jesus at the front and center of every single title they write. I recently had the blessing of getting to read and review Liz Isaacson's newest release, and today I can't wait to tell you guys all about it. If you love swoon worthy, faith based cowboy romances, then you're definitely going to want to stick around for my full review. Before I jump right in though, if you'd like to check out my review of the first title in the series, you can do so using the link below: The Cowboy Who Came Home Otherwise, let's jump right into today's rev

Another Gospel: A Lifelong Christian Seeks Truth in Response to Progressive Christianity by Alisa Childers Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. Today we're going to be diving into a review of another Christian non fiction title, and I can't say enough amazing things about this particular title. As a Christian woman who has wanted to dive into reading more non fiction titles this year, I'm honestly kind of saddened by just how many titles aimed at my demographic are basically pure fluff reads. If I want to grow my faith, I need to read hard hitting books that don't sugarcoat the truth, and I was happy to finally find another title that seemed to hit this mark for me. I hope you'll all keep reading down below for my full review. All in the Timing by Melody Carlson Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray you're all doing well, and that you're week is off to a great start. I'm so thankful you chose to drop by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. I'm Kirby, and I'm so excited you're here! I'm still feeling pretty rough if I'm being honest, but I'm working my way back to hopefully normal, and I'm enjoying getting back into the swing of sharing bookish content with you all. I'm hoping to get my Bookstagram back in the swing of things soon too, but we will have to see what I end up feeling like. Today's been a bit of a rough day, and I'm definitely going to need to rest. However, before I go do that, I wanted to share a new review with you all. In 2022, I began working my way through the many titles of the multi author Tales From Grace Chapel Inn series. Today, I'm looking forward to sharing my review with you all of another one of the titles in this series. However, before we dive right in

Love For a Lifetime by Mandi Blake Review

Happy Wednesday Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess. I'm still not a hundred percent back to normal after surgery, but I'm trying my best to get back to regular posting on here. It helps when it's an amazing book that I want to share about with you all, as it gives me an extra dose of motivation to want to get on here. While I was recovering and on my blogging hiatus, I had the chance to read the upcoming release from one of my all time favorite authors. The Summer of Keeping Secrets by Jill Lynn Review

Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. It's been awhile my friends, and I'm excited to finally be back reviewing for you all today. This is actually the first post I am writing after my hiatus, even if it might not end up being the first actually posted after this time. I had some medical complications that I may talk about at a future time, and it was necessary to take a little time off to rest and recuperate. As well, I was feeling a little burned out on book blogging, so taking some time off to deal with medical issues had the added bonus of giving me some time away to come back feeling refreshed and renewed towards something I've always loved getting to be a part of. Today's review is going to be for an upcoming June release from a very favorite author, and this particular title is quite different from what this auth
