Books I'm Taking With Me On Vacation :)

Hey guys!

It's Wednesday, but it won't be the usual Top 5 Wednesday Post on my blog today. Since I am leaving in a few hours for vacation, I decided instead to do today's post on the books I'm taking with me on vacation.

I can't even begin to describe how excited I am to be heading back to Disney World, as it has been two years since we were last there. I am planning on hopefully still doing a post or two while we're there, but it will honestly just depend on how busy we are.

I will definitely be posting on both Twitter and Instagram though, and if you want to follow along, I'm @preppybookqueen on both!

I can't wait for this vacation to start, but first I'm excited to be sharing the amazing sounding books that are coming with me!

1) Legacy Of Secrets by Ridley Pearson:

It seemed totally fitting to take the new Kingdom Keepers novel along with me to read. After all, where is a more perfect place to read a novel about the Disney theme parks than at Disney World? I haven't read this one yet, and this is one of my all time favorite series, so I'm definitely looking forward to getting to do so.

2) A Gift To Remember by Melissa Hill:

Taking a Christmas themed novel on vacation in September might seem a little weird to some people, but I actually read Melissa Hill's novel Something From Tiffany's on our last Disney trip, and so reading her books now always makes me think of it. As such, I'm going to take this one with me on this vacation.

3) Wild Montana Skies by Susan May Warren:

I currently have this arc from Net Galley, and I'm intrigued by the premise of it being about a search and rescue team in Montana. I'm definitely looking forward to curling up with this one on the plane!

4) My Hope Next Door by Tammy L Gray:

I currently have this inspirational novel from Net Galley, and this one I've actually already started. I'm really loving this story about two people who've made mistakes in the past, who are trying to not let the past define them. I especially like the element of Asher being the pastor's son, and how he's struggling with his community expecting perfection from him, and not settling for anything less.

5) Bluff by Julie Dill:

This is one is once again, another arc I currently have from Net Galley, and I'm definitely intrigued by the premise of a teenage girl who turns to gambling in order to pay her family's bills, which is a plot line I actually haven't read too much of before, so I'm sure it will be an exciting read for me.

6) Tell Me Again by Michelle Major:

And finally, I'm taking this last arc from Net Galley about a woman who gets a blast from her past when her late sister's daughter ends up on her doorstep, that she never knew existed. This is probably one of the ones I'm the most excited to read, as the synopsis definitely has me hooked.

So those are the six books I will be taking with me guys! Of course, I highly doubt I will finish all six, but we do have a couple of really long plane rides ahead of us, so I'm sure I'll make a decent sized dent in them!

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. My husband and I actually have this week off of work for a much needed holiday, and I'm excited for the many fun things we have planned.
