Blogmas Day 22: Series I Hope To Finish In 2017

Hey Guys, and Welcome To Blogmas Day 22 :)

For Tomorrow's Blogmas, I will be sharing some of the books on my January TBR List, but I thought for today's post, that it would be fun to share with you guys some of the series I hope to finish in 2017.

There's been a few series for me over the last few years that I've just never got around to finishing, even though I always meant to, and so 2017 is the year I hope to fix that.

First off, I definitely want to finish The Lunar Chronicles. It's one of my all time favorite series, and Winter has been sitting on my bookshelf since last Christmas. This book is definitely a priority for me, and I can't wait to see how Marissa Meyer wraps up this beloved series.

Secondly, I hope to finally finish The Selection series by Kiera Cass. Once again, I only have the last book (The Crown), to finish, and it's also been sitting on my bookshelf for almost a year. I think I'm honestly just sad to see this all time favorite series of mine come to an end, and that's why I've been procrastinating on finishing it, but I definitely plan on changing that this next year.

Third on my list of series to finish is The Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. I read Shadow and Bone about a year and a half ago, and completely loved it, but somehow I never got around to reading the other two novels or the novellas. I'm actually really excited to get back to this awesome series.

Fourth on my list is The Maze Runner series by James Dashner. While I loved the first book, I really didn't care for the second, and so this series became one that I kind of forgot about. However, I always meant to finish it off, and I think I've probably procrastinated long enough, so it's another must read for me in 2017.

Fifth on my list is The Raised By Wolves series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. This is a series that I have no idea why I haven't read the last book yet, as I loved the first two, and always planned to go right into the third, however it didn't end up happening. I really like Jennifer Lynn Barnes' writing style, and I'm definitely looking forward to curling up with this one in the New Year.

Lastly, I really want to finish the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella. Sophie Kinsella's books are some of my favorite humorous novels, and I've loved the first first five in the series, so I'd love to get to read the next three in 2017. :)

And that's it for today's post guys. I'll see you all back here tomorrow for Blogmas Day 23, and I hope you're all having a wonderful week preparing everything for the Christmas holidays.

Thanks so much for reading :)

Della and Darby by Susannah B. Lewis Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. My husband and I actually have this week off of work for a much needed holiday, and I'm excited for the many fun things we have planned. Aside from the fun things, I'm honestly thankful to have some extra time to get my house back in shape, and to get more organized for Christmas. I also hope to have lots of time to curl up with some great reads, and I recently had a chance to read one of my most anticipated 2023 releases! Earlier in the year, I read my first novel by Susannah B. Lewis, and I couldn't have loved it more. It was definitely one of my favorite reads of this entire year, and I've been looking forward to reading her next release ever since. If you'd like to check out that review, you can do so using the link below: Bless Your Heart Rae Sutton Otherwise, keep on reading down below for today's full review. De...

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest...
