I'm enjoying starting to get ready for Easter, even though I think it's just going to be my hubby and I this year, I'm still really looking forward to it!
I mentioned a few weeks ago in my A-Z Tag Post, that I was also planning on doing the A-Z Book Tag post, and so that is what I am here today to do.
I thought this one seemed like a really fun tag, and is a great way to introduce my reading tastes to anyone who's never read any of my earlier blog posts. :)
Author You've Read The Most Books From:
For this one, If I went with more current reads, it would be Debbie Macomber as I've read literally tons of her books, however, if we're including childhood reads than it would definitely be Ann M. Martin as growing up I literally inhaled The Baby Sitters Club, The Baby Sitters Little Sister, The Kids In Ms Coleman's Class, The Baby Sitters Mysteries, and a bunch of others.
Best Sequel Ever:
Probably Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. The Hunger Games is one series that I loved each book as much as the one before it.
Currently Reading:
The Last of August by Brittany Cavallaro. I'm really enjoying it so far, and I think it's a really great follow up to the amazing first book.
Drink of Choice While Reading:
Honestly, I usually just have a bottle of water while I'm reading, but occasionally I do make myself a cup of tea. My absolute favorite is when I make the Mad Hatter Tea blend from Disney World.
E-Reader or Physical Book:
Definitely the physical book. I do have an e-reader, and while I like it, there's just something about having the physical book present that I enjoy more.
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:
Wes from The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen.
Glad You Gave This Book a Chance:
The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. I was not planning on reading this one, since I had disliked all his other books, but I really ended up loving this one.
Hidden Gem Book:
The Summer of Yesterday by Gaby Triana. The absolutely perfect read for a Disney fan like myself.
Important Moment In Your Reading Life:
I'm probably going to say attending the RT Booklovers convention last year, as that was my first time getting to meet authors.
Just Finished:
Poor Unfortunate Soul by Serena Valentino. It was a tad strange, but I still enjoyed it.
Kinds of Books You Won't Read:
I'm really not into erotica, most non-fiction, and also, earlier romance novels that have the whole domination thing going on. They just aren't my cup of tea.
Longest Book You've Ever Read:
The Bible. And I continue to read it over and over again.
Major Book Hangovers Because Of:
Probably The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. It was so unlike anything I'd ever read before.
Number of Bookcases You Own:
At this point four, but I definitely need to purchase more as I literally have stacks of books everywhere.
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
So many I could choose from, but I'm going to go with my all time favorite, Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins.
Preferred Place To Read:
On my couch during the day when the natural sunlight comes through my big bay window.
