I know it hasn't been that long since I posted my last book haul guys, but I'm here today with another one for you all.
My birthday was in January, and I was lucky enough to receive some new books that I'm very excited to read. As well, a couple of the books I bought myself with gift cards after Christmas from Amazon took so long to get here that I ended up not waiting to include them in the past haul, and they'll be in this one instead.
First up, I'm going to share all the ebooks I received as gifts on my new Kindle Paperwhite:
The Gifting by K. E. Ganshert:
I had actually purchased the physical copy of this one for my hubby for Christmas, and then afterwards we'd discovered that it's actually a free ebook through Amazon. I ended up downloading it, and now since we both have copies of it we're considering doing a buddy read with it, as I think it'll honestly appeal to both of us.
Life In The No Dating Zone by Patricia B Tighe:
This is one that had been on my tbr list for quite some time, so my hubby ended up buying it for me for my birthday. I've already read it and loved it, and I'm really looking forward to continuing on with the rest of the series.
Paper Hearts by Courtney Walsh:
Another one that had been on my TBR list for quite some time, and one that I'd talked about quite a bit on my blog. I can't wait to read this one.
And lastly for e-books,
My hubby purchased the entire Rock Harbor collection by Colleen Coble for me:
The publisher put this on a crazy sale of .99 cents for all five books. I definitely couldn't pass that up, especially since the regular price is 29.99 Canadian.
And now onto physical books:
One of the books I was the most excited to receive was the Puffin In Bloom edition of Little Women
This was the only book I was missing in the tenth anniversary editions of Ally Carter's Gallagher Girls series, and I'm happy to now have the complete set.
I received Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles which was a favorite read of mine from a few years ago.
Through The Zombie Glass by Gena Showalter was the only book I was missing from the series, and I'm hoping I'll now be able to marathon read this whole series.
I've really been looking forward to reading this trilogy by Krista Mcgee, and I'm really thankful I received the only book I was missing from it for my birthday.
Young Widows Club by Alexandra Coutts sounded like a really original story idea, and unlike anything I'd ever read before. It also ended up being a really good deal when my hubby ordered it as Indigo had the hardcover for 6.00!
I'd asked for this one by Katie Mcgarry, as it was the only one I was missing from her Thunder Road series. I haven't read book two yet either, but I'm really wanting to get on with doing so, so that I'll be able to read the novella included with her newest release.
My hubby also surprised me with ordering me this gorgeous superhero book sleeve from Etsy. This was the main thing I'd wanted for my birthday since I don't own one, and I really loved the design he picked out.
Second Impressions by Pepper Basham was a novel that I'd ordered for myself with an Amazon gift card, and it took almost a month to get here which I wasn't impressed with, especially considering it was one of the books I'd really been wanting to read in January. Hopefully I'll get to it in February instead.
This was the other book in my super delayed Amazon order, and I was so excited for it. Unfortunately, as I mentioned in my January wrap up, it fell a little short for me, but oh well that's the way it goes sometimes.
Amy and Roger's Epic Detour is a book I've been wanting to own my own copy of ever since I read it for the first time. I've had to check it out of the library each time I felt compelled to reread it, and so I can't even say how happy I am to have received it for my birthday.
And finally, my last book received/purchased in January was Say You'll Remember Me by Katie McGarry:
I purchased this one as a birthday present for myself, and I took advantage of the preorder offer where you'll be emailed an exclusive novella if you did so. I can't wait to read this one, and I also can't wait to read the novella and find out what my favorite characters from her previous series are up to these days.
