Hello Friends :)

 Does anyone else read Christmas books all throughout the year?
For some reason, I always do, and I think it's mainly because I love them too much to only read them during the holiday season.
A couple of weeks ago, I finished a really sweet one that emphasized family, friends, and understanding what's truly valuable in life, and today I can't wait to review it all for you guys.

 Upon her grandmother's death, Izzy Fontaine finds herself in possession of a Wild Goose Chase pattern quilt that supposedly leads to a great treasure. Of course, once the rest of the family finds out about the "treasure map," they're determined to have a go at the treasure themselves. And, if that weren't enough, Max Logan, a local museum curator, contacts Izzy and says that Grandma Isabella promised him the quilt.

What is it about this quilt that makes everyone want it? Is Izzy on a wild goose chase of her own, or a journey that will lead her to the treasure her grandmother intended?

My Review:

 A Wild Goose Chase Christmas was a light hearted, holiday read with a protagonist that you'll want to root for, a writing style with lots of spunk, an adorable budding romance, and an emphasis on the things that truly matter in life.

 When Izzy Fontaine receives a quilt after her grandmother's passing, her life changes in unexpected ways that she never could have seen coming. The quilt is rumored to lead to great treasure, and soon Izzy's brother is caught up in trying to find the financial wealth he assumes this means. However, Izzy's grandmother was a smart lady who understand what's the "true treasure", and her last bequests will have her family on a quest to discover this for themselves.

 Full of holiday cheer, many hysterics and hi jinks, and some great secondary characters like Max, Max's grandfather and Max's assistant, this one was a pleasant surprise, and I highly recommend it. If you're a fan of contemporary novels, clean romances, and sweet Christmas stories with a side of spunk, then you'll definitely love this one, and you'll want to go ahead and pick it up. This was my first experience with a Jennifer AlLee novel, but I will definitely now be checking out more books from her in the future.
