I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another post here on The Preppy Book Princess.
It's been such a long time since I did a book tag, that I honestly don't even remember what the last one was that I posted.
However, I'd really missed doing them, since they're always such a fun thing to participate in, and I thought today would be the perfect day to post another one.
For today's post, I chose The Summer Vacation Book Tag, which was created by Em from Keystroke Blog.
I figured since I'm not taking a summer vacation this year, that maybe participating in this tag would help combat the vacation blues a little. (or at least I can hope lol!)

Maybe This Time by Kasie West:
Kasie West is one of my favorite authors, and I'm really looking forward to reading her newest release. Unfortunately though, I have a bad habit of always saving her books to read for so long, that I actually haven't finished her last couple of releases either.
Beach Day:
A Book That Leaves You Wanting More
State of Lies by Siri Mitchell:
I loved this novel when I read it last month, but the ending left me wanting more of my questions answered. Plus, I would have loved it even more if their had been more of a faith element to it.

A Book Where The Romance Is On Point
Sweet on You by Becky Wade:
Zander and Britt's story was everything I was hoping for, and the perfect conclusion to the Bradford sisters. Becky Wade is another one of my favorites, and she's one of the very best at writing romance period!

A Book You Were Exited For But Didn't Live Up To Your Expectations
The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon:
I thought this one was truly going to be amazing, but I really couldn't get into the story. I found their were way too many characters to try and keep up with, and this is definitely one of my bookish pet peeves.
Theme Park:
A Fantastical Book That Transported You To Another World
The Kindom Keepers by Ridley Pearson:
Since Disney is my favorite vacation destination, and the Kingdom Keepers is one of my all time favorite book series, it seems only fitting to pick it for this question. I literally can't wait for the new Kingdom Keepers spin off series that's supposed to be coming out in spring of next year!
Thunder Storm:
A Dark Book That Was Light Up With Streaks of Beauty
The House on Foster Hill by Jaime Jo Wright:
While I always love how deliciously scary Jaime Jo Wright's books are, my favorite thing about them is the focus on extreme faith despite the disheartening circumstances. For me personally, they always showcase the light at the end of the tunnel, and she's another of my favorite authors.

The Mother Daughter Book Club by Heather Vogel Frederick:
I could have chosen so many for this question, but I'm going to go with another of my favorite middle grade series. No matter how many times I re-read this series, it could never possibly be enough!
