I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess.

If you've been reading my blog for awhile, then you probably already know how much I love Amish fiction. It continues to be one of my all time favorite genres, and I'm always excited to get to dive into new stories within this genre.

A couple of months ago, I had the pleasure of getting to read an Amish Christmas story by a new to me author, and today I can't wait to tell you guys all about it.

My Review:

This was my first experience with a novel by Patricia Davids, and I can guarantee it won't be my last. I truly adore Amish fiction, and I love finding new to me authors within this genre. A Haven For Christmas is a beautiful, heartwarming story about grace, faith and redemption, and it's exactly what I hope for whenever I pick up a novel about the Amish culture.

I really enjoyed how this one is about an Englischer who's struggling to find himself after being released from rehab, and ends up offering to give a struggling Amish widow and her family a hand on their dairy farm when he stumbles upon them by chance. It's a really unique plotline, and it kept me engaged entirely throughout.

Tully and Becca's story is swoon worthy, heartwarming, and faith filled, and is definitely a new favorite. I loved the emphasis on trusting God, even when it seems impossible to do so, and the lessons learned that only He can make all things work for our own good.

Final Rating: 4/5.

I truly adored this one, and I hope to read more titles in this series in the very near future.
