#Friday Reads: October 7th

It's finally Friday guys!

And I'd planned to be sharing a review of an arc I recently finished today, but alas, that's just not going to happen.

Unfortunately, the small cold that I developed in Disney World has turned into a full fledged sinus infection, thanks largely in part to the plane ride home, and I just don't feel I'd be able to give the review the attention and consideration it deserves while I'm feeling like this.

So instead, today, I thought I would do another #Friday Reads post, since it has been a little while since I've done one, and I'll share my review on Monday instead, when hopefully I'll be feeling much better. :)

For anyone unfamiliar with this particular meme, it was created by the Petite Book Blogger, and simply consists of listing the books you're going to be reading this weekend, talking about whether or not you're enjoying them, and if you plan on reviewing them once you finish.

Here's my list for this upcoming weekend:

1) Tell Me Again by Michelle Major:

This book and I unfortunately got off to a rough start. I had so much trouble downloading this file from Netgalley, and I literally had to try it on three different devices before I could finally get it to work. Unfortunately I'm also not completely loving the story so far, as I really don't care for the male lead character at all, but I'm definitely hoping my opinion changes, and I will for sure be reviewing this one here on my blog once I finish.

2) Tiger's Quest by Colleen Houck:

Despite so many bad reviews of Tiger's Curse, I personally loved it, and I've been anxiously anticipating starting this second book in the series. It is once again a huuuge novel, and I'm only about one-fifth done it, but I really like it so far, and I definitely hope to read a fair chunk of this novel this weekend. I don't think I'll be reviewing this one when I finish, but I may decide to change my mind on that one.

3) Breakable by Tammara Webber:

It's been quite awhile since I read the first book in this series, and I think I'd honestly forgotten just how amazing Tammara Webber's books are. This one has had me hooked right from the first page, and I definitely felt like I spent today walking around in a book coma. I hope to finish this one this weekend, and also, to share a quick review of it here on my blog.

4) Stranded: A Winter Romance Duet by Samantha Chase and Noelle Adams:

With the fact that we've had huge amounts of snow the last few days, I was definitely in the mood for a winter or Christmas themed contemporary. This one definitely fit the bill, and is my last book for this weekend. I'm enjoying the adorable story about a women who's snowbound with her brother's egomaniac boss, and the chemistry that keeps building between them. I definitely cannot wait to curl up with my Disney Wonderland tea, and this book in front of the window, but I don't think I will be reviewing this one when I finish.
