September and October Book Haul :)

Hey guys!

As everybody who reads my blog is aware, I've been on a bit of book buying ban for the last few months. I came home with so many new books from RT Booklovers this spring, that I kind of thought it would be a bit frivolous to buy anymore, and so, I went a few months without actually buying any books.

However, that did change in September and October, and I did end up purchasing a few books for myself, and I thought today would be the perfect day to share that haul of books with all you guys. :).   

First off, on our trip to Disneyworld in September, we happened to fly out of the city that has my favorite Chapters bookstore. So on the way home, we decided to stop there, and I came out with four amazing books that I can't wait to read.

First, I got Don't Even Think About It by Sarah Mlynowski, as I've loved the previous books I've read by her, and then, since as you guys know I've been dying to read more of the classics, I also picked up:

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte,

and Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen.

Then in October, I happened to visit our local used bookstore, which I hadn't been to in awhile. I love supporting this particular bookstore, as all of the profits go towards our local animal shelter, and that is a cause near and dear to my heart, since it's where my hubby and I adopted our kitten from.

They also have insane prices, and these four books were only a dollar total. I ended up donating more than that, because I felt bad taking them for such a low price. I got:

A Good Yarn by Debbie Macomber, which is the second book in The Blossom Street series, and I'm excited to read it, since I loved the first book so much.

Rebecca's Christmas Gift by Emma Miller, and I'm always excited for new Love Inspired novels.

Thursdays at Eight by Debbie Macomber, guys let's face it I can never turn down a Debbie Macomber novel,

and finally, This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen, which is one of my favorite books by her, and I actually didn't own this one yet.

Lastly, I decided to place an order on Book Outlet during their Booktoberfest sale to buy some Christmas gifts for my husband and best friend. Obviously I won't be sharing those books on here, as I know they both read my blog, and might end up seeing what I purchased for them.

However, I did also purchase a few books for myself, which I'm excited to share with you all.

Firstly, I got Miss Mayhem by Rachel Hawkins. Everyone knows how much I loved Rebel Belle, and I honestly can't wait to dive into this second one!

Next I got, A Season To Wed by Rachel Hauck, Cindy Kirk, and Cheryl Wyatt. I've mentioned before how much I've been loving the A Year Of Wedding Novellas, and while I'm not very far into them yet, I decided to grab this one anyways, since it was such a good price.

I then got Once Upon A Prince by Rachel Hauck, and I'm so excited to finally read some of her books, especially after meeting her at RT, and seeing what an amazing person she was.

Lastly, I purchased a 3 books in one collection of the first three books in the Spooksville series by Christopher Pike. This was originally supposed to be a Christmas present for Neil, as we both really liked the TV show, and expressed interest in reading the books, but he was having such a bad day the day the order came, that I decided just to give it to him then instead.

And that's it for my haul guys. As you can see, I got some pretty amazing books, and I can't wait to read them, and review them here on my blog.
