I truly adore sweet, clean romances, and I love how many more of these books are appearing on the market, especially from Indie or Self Published authors.

One of my favorite authors within this genre is D.E. Malone, and I always look

forward to getting to read her new book releases.

My Review:

D.E. Malone is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite sweet romance authors, and I adored how well she tackles the friends to something more trope in her newest release, Love, Lies and Lullabies.

This heartwarming story could be partly considered a second chance romance, but, from a different angle since the two main characters were only friends as teenagers and never anything more. I personally loved the way that this book combined so many of my favorite romance elements. You have two characters who were best friends throughout high school, but circumstances drove them apart. You have an unrequited love. You have a second chance at romance through a high school reunion, and most of all, you have a beautiful friends to something more romance.

Chase and Wynne's story is truly beautiful, and I loved how authentic and intimate it comes across to the reader. I love when a talented author like D.E. Malone can write a complex and heartwarming romance while keeping the content completely clean as to me that speaks volumes as to just how talented she is as an author, and that she truly develops her romances and doesn't just rely on chemistry or lust to drag the story along.

As always, I loved another visit to the Blueberry Point Inn, and with how charming and quaint this inn is always described, I'd truly love it if it existed to stay at in real life.

Overall, the third book in the Blueberry Point Romance series was everything I could have possibly hoped for, and I truly think it's my favorite so far in the series. I can't possibly recommend this one enough, and although these books can definitely be read as stand alones, since they're all fantastic you should definitely go ahead and read the entire series!
