Thank you all for finding your way over to The Preppy Book Princess this morning.

Are you someone who enjoys rereading? I adore getting to reread books, and yet my reviewing schedule has been so full lately that I haven't had a lot of time to do so. One of the series I've been really wanting to reread is the Cape Light series by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer, and a few months ago I finally had the chance to reread the first book.

After that I got too busy with reviewing to continue on, but a couple of months I finally had the chance to sit down and gobble up the second book.

Since the first time I read this book I wasn't book reviewing yet, I knew this time around that I wanted to try and review at least some of the earlier titles in this series.

My Review:

Cape Light is one of my all time favorite series, and I'm really enjoying reading through the entire series again. Home Song is a heartwarming story that speaks of family, faith and friendship, and is definitely a recommended read during these crazy days going on in our world right now.

Cape Light is one of my favorite fictional small towns, and I truly adore how the town all comes together. Of course, you always have Charlie Bates out for himself and crushing everyone who gets in the way, but the town overall all tries to work together to help each other out. A negative side of the town emerges when Luke, a former Boston police officer, wants to open a center for troubled kids, and Emily Warwick's stance on it might just cause her to loose the mayoral election to Charlie Bates. On top of that, Jessica and Sam are struggling with going forward with their wedding plans when Jessica's mom Lillian is so opposed to the idea of the union. Sara Franklin is struggling to know what to do with the heavy secret she's been keeping, and the feelings she's starting to develop for Luke.

This season in Cape Light, hearts will be mended, long sought after relationships will be restored, and town members will learn the importance of faith no matter what you may be going through.

I truly adore this series, and I can't wait to start rereading book three!
