I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess.
I've had a very busy couple of weeks, and have been putting in a lot of extra hours at work. I haven't had as much reading time as usual because of this, but I'm hoping to correct that soon as there's so many amazing books I'd love the chance to read.
Last January, I finally read my first novel by Laura Frantz and I loved it. Tidewater Bride was a story that completely immersed me in its happenings, and I never wanted to see it end. You can check out that review below:
I couldn't wait to read more books from this talented storyteller, and I was excited to get to be a part of the Revell Reads Blog Tour for her newest release, A Heart Adrift.
I'd heard so many amazing things about this one going into it, and I couldn't wait to read it myself.
Today I'm here to share with you all what I ended up thinking about it, and keep reading below for my full review.

My Review:
Laura Frantz truly has a beautiful way with words, and her newest release, A Heart Adrift is going to appeal to readers across many different genres and reading preferences. Set in 1775, this historical tale speaks of chocolate, second chance romances, sailing the seas, and lighthouses that beckon us home.
Henri and Esmee were sweethearts ten years ago, but his love for the sea caused them to part on unpleasant terms. When they are suddenly thrown back into each other's lives, old feelings begin to remerge, and romance is soon on its way to being rekindled. However, Henri is about the embark on the most dangerous mission of his career, and Esmee's not sure where that will leave her. Can they both learn to lean on the Lord, and trust His way no matter the outcome.
Told in both Esmee and Henri's points of view, A Heart Adrift is a captivating, historically accurate novel that blends many scriptural truths and promises into the beautiful prose. Well written, beautifully descriptive, and heart wrenching, Laura Frantz has written another stellar romance that will stick with readers long after they finish reading it.
My only complaints were the fact that I thought the story dragged in some portions, and that the ending was a tad rushed although wow what an ending it was!
All in all, my second experience with a novel from this author was another fantastic experience, and I can't wait to read more of her books in the future.
