If you've been reading my blog for awhile, then you probably are quite aware of the fact that Becky Wade is one of my all time favorite authors.

However, I hadn't gotten around to reading her newest book release yet, and that definitely needed to change.

My Review:

In typical Becky Wade Fashion, Let It Be Me is a heartwarming story that will have you both laughing out loud and tearing up, and reminding yourself once again why she is truly one of the genre's best. Sebastian and Leah's story is a roller coaster, emotional ride from start to finish, and I found myself wanting to both read it as quick as possible but also to take my time and truly savor their beautiful romance.

I truly think Becky is one of the very best at writing books that feature witty banter between the characters, and many many moments had me outright laughing out loud. However, I also love that every single one of her stories highlights the importance of letting go and letting God, and this story may be one of the best authentic examples I've ever personally seen of this.

While her contemporaries always have their fluffy and swoon worthy moments, I love the fact that they always include deeper elements that are often surrounded by mysteries, and while I don't want to say too much as I don't want to give away any spoilers, I was quite surprised by one of the biggest plot twists, and it didn't end up going in the direction I expected at all.

Let It Be Me was everything I could have wanted in a story, and I can't wait to reread this one, and read the next book in the series.

Becky Wade continues to be one of my favorite authors, and I can't recommend this heart wrenching tale enough.
