I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess.
Are you someone who sticks to only reading certain genres? Or are you the type of reader that reads across a great many different genres.
Without a doubt, I'm definitely the latter. I love contemporaries, cozy mysteries, historical fiction, middle grade, young adult, dual timelines, etc, etc. And my all time favorite is reading any of these sub genres that are under the Christian fiction heading.
A beloved author within the Christian historical fiction market is Kristi Ann Hunter, but surprisingly, until 2020, I'd actually never read any of her books before.
Her recent trilogy, Hearts of the Hearth, is my first experience with her stories, and I've enjoyed my first foray into her beloved books.

Synopsis:

My Review:
Enchanting the Heiress is the wonderful conclusion to Kristi Ann Hunter's beloved Hearts on the Heart trilogy, and it was everything I was hoping for and more. I seem to be in the minority with feeling so based on the other reviews I've been seeing, but this one was by far my absolute favorite of the entire series.
Harriet and Jonas were both characters that had many faults they had to overcome on their quest to find out what they wanted to do with their lives, but I felt that this only made them that much more relatable. At the end of the day, they both had such big hearts and a desire to help those they cared for, but were both going about doing so in the wrong way.
I've enjoyed the friendship and camaraderie that's existed between the characters in this series from day one, and this book really brought that bond full circle. Obviously, Harriet and Jones' relationship wasn't expected by anyone around them, and the fact that this one dived into the topic of trying to make a relationship work with someone outside of your own social status made it that much more original of a story.
Kristi Ann Hunter is a talented storyteller, and I appreciate that she writes beautiful romances that keep the faith element at the front and center. I'm never bored when I pick up one of her titles, and Enchanting the Heiress was no exception.
Final Rating: 4/5.
I couldn't have enjoyed this one more, and I thought it was the perfect conclusion to this favorite series.
