The Unbound Bookshop by Rachael Bloome Review

 Happy Monday Sweet Friends :)

I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to drop on by The Preppy Book Princess for another book review.

I'm Kirby, and I'm happy to welcome you to my little bookish corner of the internet.

It's been awhile since my last post, and that's because my hubby and I just got back from a lovely holiday to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. Unfortunatley, I had planned on posting a couple of reviews while we were gone, but the wi fi was horrible. So instead, I'm here now to share a review of an upcoming title with you all.

I was so excited to read this one, and now I can't wait to tell you guys all about it.

If you'd like to check out my reviews of the first two titles in the series, you can do so using the links below:

Flynn Cahill, still haunted by the death of his twin brother, has dedicated his life to completing his brother's bucket list.

My Review:

I'm always thankful for Rachael Bloome presenting her reader's with new stories, and I couldn't wait to dive into another Blessings Bay title. The Unbound Bookshop sounded especially intriguing, as I always love getting to read titles that focus around bookish content and settings. The concept of an "unbound" bookshop was so original and captivating that I couldn't wait to see where the author would go with the idea. This beautiful title was everything I was hoping for and more, and another wonderful installment in a favorite series.

Every one of Rachael's titles read like a feel good made to TV movie come to life, and I mean that in the best way possible because I'm a huge fan of such titles. She always writes from the heart, and it sets her stories apart as something special. Flynn and Sage seem like an unlikely pairing at the start of the story, but the reader can definitely tell that there's something more simmering under the surface. I enjoyed how so much of their journey to happily ever after consisted of them having to face their pasts, and deal with the insecurities and hurts that have come about because of it.

While Sage and Flynn's story was a worthy contender in its own right, the story was made even more heartwarming and heart wrenching by the twist that's thrown into Abby and Logan's own continuing romance, and while I don't want to give spoilers, I will simply say to be prepared with tissues at the ready before you go ahead and pick this one up.

All in all, I couldn't have enjoyed this one more, and it lived up to every one of my expectations. Another one of my favorite reads of the year, and one I will be wholeheartedly recommending.

Final Rating: 5/5.

Definitely go ahead and pick this one up when it releases, and if you have yet to read a title by Rachael Bloome, then I highly recommend that you do so as you are definitely missing out!

Thanks so much to Rachael Bloome for allowing me to read and review this one!

I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary advance reader copy of this novel from the author (Rachael Bloome) as part of her ARC Team. I was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own, and this is my honest review.

Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day :)

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest...
