My Review:

Rescue on the Farm is another heartwarming, faith based romance from author Allie Pleiter. With an idyllic setting, a romance that will tug at the heart strings, and an emphasis on friends, family and faith; this delightful story was a wonderful addition to the Love Inspired line up, and it's one that I had a hard time wanting to put down.

Readers follow single mother Meg Kittering, who owns the local diner and lives next door to Three Sisters Rescue Farm. When the owner of the farm has her son (Grant) visit unexpectedly, Meg doesn't care for the way he refuses to support his mother in her dream of operating the rescue farm. A police officer who has seen the worst of the worst, Grant doesn't have patience for his mother's newest ideal, or for her next door neighbor's sunny disposition towards everything, despite the harsh circumstances life has dealt her. However, as the two start to spend more time together, they can't deny the sparks that are flying between them. Soon Grant is dreaming of a future with this woman and her adorable daughters, and Meg finds herself wanting to take another chance at love despite the fears she has about doing so. However, with so much riding against them, can they truly trust God to lead them into their own version of happily ever after?

A sweet story about taking chances on love, and listening to the Lord's leading even when it may seem impossible to do so, this was another lovely story from Allie Pleiter that will leave every reader with a big smile on their face.

If you enjoy your romances sweet and clean and with a dash of canines for good measure, this might just be the title you've been looking for.

My only complaints were the fact that I thought the ending was a bit rushed and didn't answer some of the questions that were raised about Grant's situation, and I also wish readers had been given a bit more of his backstory.

Overall though, I definitely enjoyed this one, and I look forward to more titles with these characters in the future.
