Upcoming and Current Releases I'm Most Excited About

Hello Everyone!

I hope your week is off to a great start :)

It's been awhile since I've posted an upcoming book releases post, and that's what I felt like sharing with you all today.

Honestly, in the last few months there hasn't been too too many books releasing that I've been really excited about, but that has definitely changed recently.

There's so many amazing sounding titles releasing soon, or just released, and I'm going to share a few of the ones I'm most excited about with you all today.

Any Dream Will Do by Debbie Macomber:

I always anticipate Debbie's new releases, and this one is definitely no exception. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with reading all her new releases, as she always has a few a year, but I'm definitely dying to read this one about a woman who finds solace in a church and it's pastor, and then has everything threatened when her brother returns to town with a secret that threatens to unravel everything.

This one actually just released last week, and I do hope to get the chance to pick it up before the end of the year.

Christmas In Icicle Falls by Sheila Roberts:

The Icicle Falls series is definitely one of my new favorites, and I'm so happy I took the time to read all the rest of the books this year. This new release is the final installment in this popular series, and it will focus around the town's local celebrity, Murial Sterling. The Christmas books in this series have been my favorites, and I definitely hope that this one lives up to the expectations I have for it.

This one releases on October 24th, 2017.

Warcross by Marie Lu:

I love Marie Lu's writing style, and the Legend trilogy remains one of my all time favorite dystopians. I actually didn't overly love The Young Elites, but the synopsis of this one revolving around a popular online video game has me intrigued, and I definitely can't wait to read it.

I might even end up grabbing this one as a birthday present for my hubby since he loves Marie's books as well, and I think this synopsis would definitely appeal to him

This one releases on September 12th, 2017.

After The Game by Abbi Glines:

I'm personally not the biggest fan of Abbi Glines' NA books, but I've surprisingly really found myself enjoying her first YA series. The third book focuses on Riley, who fled her hometown two years previously, after accusing the son of one of the richest families in town of rape. Now she's back with her daughter in tow, and Brady, the town's golden boy, starts to realize that there might have been more to that rumor than anyone originally believed.

I'm really looking forward to getting to read this one, and it releases on August 22nd, 2017.

Blind Spot by Dani Pettrey:

I've mentioned before that Dani Pettrey's Alaskan Courage series is one of my favorite inspirational suspense series of all time. I've definitely been enjoying this one, The Chesapeake Valor, as well even though it's definitely scarier than her original series. This third book focuses on Declan and Tanner's story, and I definitely can't wait to jump back into this world, and these characters.

This one releases on October 3rd, 2017.

This really just skims the surface of all the amazing books releasing in the next few weeks, and I'd love to hear which upcoming releases you guys are most excited about.

Thanks so much for reading, and I'll see you all again on Wednesday!

Della and Darby by Susannah B. Lewis Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. My husband and I actually have this week off of work for a much needed holiday, and I'm excited for the many fun things we have planned. Aside from the fun things, I'm honestly thankful to have some extra time to get my house back in shape, and to get more organized for Christmas. I also hope to have lots of time to curl up with some great reads, and I recently had a chance to read one of my most anticipated 2023 releases! Earlier in the year, I read my first novel by Susannah B. Lewis, and I couldn't have loved it more. It was definitely one of my favorite reads of this entire year, and I've been looking forward to reading her next release ever since. If you'd like to check out that review, you can do so using the link below: Bless Your Heart Rae Sutton Otherwise, keep on reading down below for today's full review. De...

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest...
