I have a bonus post this week to share, as this Wednesday is the official start of the O.W.L.S magical readathon hosted by G from Book Roast on Youtube, and I'm extremely excited to be participating for the first time ever.
I did take part in the bonus readathon she hosted at Christmastime, but this is my first time participating in the full thing.
I will leave links at the bottom of this post to the Magical Readathon Website, G's announcement video, and the Magical Readathon Twitter.
Basically this readathon is a Harry Potter themed readathon in that the spring readathon is themed to the O.W.L.S and the summer one is themed to the N.E.W.T.S. You have to pick a career choice, and then complete your "O.W.l.S." by completing reading challenges for each class.
After much deliberation, I decided to go with "Care of Magical Children" for my career choice, and it requires 8 O.W.L.S, or 8 reading prompts. Which are the following:
Arithmancy: magical qualities of number two: read something outside your favorite genre.
Charms: Lumos Maxima: white cover
Defense Against The Dark Arts: Grindylows: book set at the sea/coast.
Herbology: Mimbulus Mimbletonia: title that starts with an M.
History of Magic: Witch Hunts: books featuring witches/wizards
Muggle Studies: Book from a perspective of a muggle(contemporary).
Potions: Shrinking Solution: book under 150 pages.
Transfiguration: Animagus Lecture: book/series that includes shapeshifting.
After much plotting and planning, and then changing my mind completely, this is officially my tbr for the readathon:

The Crown's Game by Evelyn Skye
Defense Against The Dark Arts:
On a Coastal Breeze by Suzanne Woods Fisher
Herbology:
Mila 2.0 by Debra Driza

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling
Muggle Studies:
The Bookworm Crush by Lisa Brown Roberts
Potions:
Second Impressions by Pepper D Basham
Transfiguration:
A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
I can't wait to dive into all of these amazing sounding books, and with the exception of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, they're all new reads for me.
