I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess.
Is anyone else finding themselves burned out on picking up Christian fiction books that end up pretty much being anything but?
I've grown so disheartened with the unnecessary content that's finding its way into Christian books these days, and it's definitely an alarming trend that I don't care for.
That being said, when I find an author who continues to write wonderful faith based romances, I'm extra thankful and try to commit to making sure I take the time to read as many of their books as I can.
One such author is Nicole Deese, and today I can't wait to share my review with you all of her most recent release.

My Review:
When I read All That Really Matters by Nicole Deese last year, I found it to honestly be a bit of a letdown in comparison to her previous release, Before I Called You Mine, being my absolute favorite read of that year. I had a really hard time connecting with the main characters (Molly and Silas), and it kind of hindered my enjoyment of the rest of the story. However, one thing that did stand out to me from it was how much I enjoyed Val and Miles as secondary characters, and when I found out that her next release was going to be their story, I couldn't wait to pick it up.
This book ended up being everything I was hoping for and more, and I could barely bring myself to put it down once I started it. Miles and Val's story is swoon worthy, heart wrenching, and wonderful, and it showcased just how talented of an author Nicole Deese truly is.
I continue to appreciate how much heart she puts into her stories, and also that she's not afraid to tackle controversial subjects within the Christian fiction genre. A lot of this story revolves around what it truly means to be a missionary to those around us, and also the tragic side of abortion and regret, and how much support systems are truly needed in those type of situations.
This book pulled at my heartstrings, caught me right up into its pages, and had me never wanting to see it come to an end. I loved Miles big heart and Val's determination to make a difference in a world where she's had to try twice as hard as everybody else. I adored their landlord to friendship to something more romance, and I loved the interactions that included Val's adorable son Tucker.
Without a doubt, this one was worth the wait and was another wonderful, faith based romance from one of the genre's best.
Final Rating: 4/5.
I can't possibly recommend this one enough, and I look forward to reading more of Nicole Deese's books in the future.
