This Time Around by Denise Hunter, Melissa Ferguson, and Kathleen Fuller Review

I pray you all had a great weekend, and that your week is off to a fantastic start! I'm actually heading out of town today for a couple of appointments, and some quality time with my family. Hopefully it's going to be a good day, but it's also supposed to be really hot outside today so we will see how everything goes.

Before I head out though, I wanted to share my review with you all of an upcoming contemporary Christian romance novella collection, and this is definitely one to watch out for.

My Review:

This adorable collection of clean and sweet romance stories will appeal to anyone who prefers their romances to be clean and not chocked full of objectionable content. I was initially drawn to this one as a huge fan of Denise Hunter's stories, and the fact that I absolutely loved the adorable cover. I really ended up enjoying this one for the most part, and am glad I took the time to go ahead and read it.

Each romance is fairly quick, but two are second chance romances which helped speed things up, and the final story revolves around two people who grew up together but had never thought about each other romantically. I thought each story brought its own unique spin to the collection, and my favorite ended up being the last story written by Kathleen Fuller then Denise's and finally Melissa Ferguson's, which I didn't end up enjoying quite as much as the other two. I found her characters and their subsequent romance didn't really appeal to me the way that the other two stories did, and I didn't feel quite as invested in that particular story.

Each story is unique however, and I enjoyed the corresponding settings (a road trip, a Christmas tree farm and a flower shop in a small town), and the well developed and quirky cast of characters that rounds out each individual story.

I really ended up enjoying this heartwarming collection, and I loved that this it was a fairly quick read but still had plenty of substance to offers its readers.

Definitely go ahead and pick this one up if you're a fan of sweet and clean romances, and if you've enjoyed any of these author's previous books.
