One Enchanted Christmas by Melissa Tagg Review

Hello Friends :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'll be the first to admit that I have a lot of favorite authors. There's just too many whose books I love to choose only a couple of names when I'm asked that question.  One of the names on my list of favorite authors though is always Melissa Tagg. Since contemporaries are my favorite stories, it's probably not surprising that she's one of my favorites. I'd actually never gotten around to reading her Christmas novellas (shocking I know!), and since I've been in the mood for Christmas reads lately, hers seemed like a perfect choice. Not surprisingly, I ended up loving this quirky but sweet contemporary story, and today I can't wait to share with you all what I ended up thinking about it. Love at First Fight by Maggie Dallen Review

Hello Friends :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Do any of you guys love discovering new self published titles on Amazon? I have a really bad habit of constantly looking up books on there, and adding so many new titles to my wish list and tbr list. Once in awhile, I try and go back and actually purchase some of the never ending titles I've added to those lists, and quite often I really end up enjoying them. Today I'd like to share with you all my review for one of my most recently purchased Amazon titles. Hooked on You by Kathleen Fuller Review

Good Morning Friends :) I hope your week is off to a great start, and I want to thank you all for joining me (Kirby) here on The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. I've found the last few days to be especially hard. I mentioned in my last post that our government has added further restrictions that we are not allowed to visit with other households outside our own, and I've been struggling a little bit with loneliness. My hubby has been working a lot of extra hours, and I've been spending a lot of time by myself which can get to be a bit too much somedays. I appreciate having some quiet time to myself to spend more time with Jesus, but it still starts to feel lonely somedays. Other than spending time with Jesus, I've been finding a lot of comfort in cooking, and baking, as I love doing both and my kitchen is always one of my favorite places to be. I've also been trying to go to my favorite park at least once a day to take a walk on one of the beautiful wal

The Nature of a Lady by Roseanna M White Review

Good Morning Friends :) How have you all been doing? Can I be honest and say that things have been a little rough lately? I find myself still struggling to let go and let God with everything that's been going on with my life lately, and all the extra stress over COVID 19 is definitely not helping.  Yesterday our province announced further restrictions, and we are now no longer able to visit anyone outside of our own household. I can honestly handle any of the other restrictions, but I really struggle when I'm not able to visit my family. It's sometimes really hard to stay encouraged with the current state of our world, but I'm trying my best.   I'm trying as much as possible to prioritize time with Jesus, and He's been showcasing to me a lot of things that I needed to change within my heart and my life.  One of those things (as you'll know if you've been reading my blog recently) was that I needed to do a much closer examination of the type of medias I w
