New York, New Year, New You by Rachael Bloome Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you chose to stop by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. Do you have anything exciting going on this weekend? Mine will be pretty much the same as usual, with me working both today and tomorrow, and then spending Sunday with my hubby at home. Aside from getting some housework and blogging caught up, I'm hoping to have the time to curl up with some great new reads. And speaking of great new reads, today's review is going to be for another one of the titles from my " 2023 Most Anticipated Releases Post ." Rachael Bloome has been one of my favorites ever since her debut novel, and I've got to have the wonderful blessing of being a member of her arc team right from the beginning. I can't wait to tell you all about her upcoming release in today's review, and I hope you'll all keep on reading down below! New York, New Year, New You by Rachael Bloome:

Back Home Again by Melody Carlson Review

Good Morning Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm Kirby, and I'm so thankful you took the time to stop by my little corner of the internet. A couple of years ago, I had someone recommend the Tales From Grace Chapel Inn series to me, and it honestly sounded like something I'd really enjoy. However, I was a little scared to jump into it, as I knew it was a series with many, many titles, and I wasn't sure I wanted to commit to reading that many books. I finally decided just to dive in, and give the first title a chance, and today I'm here to share with you all what I ended up thinking about it. Keep reading below for my full review. The Hawthorne Legacy by Jennifer Lynn Barnes Review

Good Morning Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. A couple of months ago, I shared my review with you all of The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I didn't end up caring for it, I didn't appreciate a lot of the content, and the mystery part of the plot was not at all what I'd been expecting. However, because I was curious where the story was going to go from there, I still decided to go ahead and give the second book a try. I was hoping for a much more positive reading experience than the first book had been. Keep reading below for my full review to find out what I ended up thinking about book two. The Hawthorne Legacy by Jennifer Lynn Barnes: Source: Libby App Publisher: Penguin Publication Date: September 7th, 2021 Genre: Young Adult Fiction/Young Adult Thriler Series: The Inheritance Games Synopsis: Intrigue, riches, and romance abound in this th

The Haven by Suzanne Woods Fisher Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. One thing that has really started to bother me lately is the importance our society puts on money. Everything is about how much you can make, buying things that are more expensive than one could ever need, constantly striving for a better job so you have can have that extravagant lifestyle, etc. etc. And the most frustrating thing of all is that so many Christians are starting to have this attitude as well.  Money has become such an idol in our world today, and it makes me so sad. This may seem like a strange intro to a book review, but I promise it fits in. One of the reasons I love reading Amish fiction as much as I do is that I love how their culture doesn't put importance on money, status or material things. It's such a refreshing breath of air from current society, and I love immersing myself in books set in their cu

The Rose and the Thistle by Laura Frantz Review

Happy Monday Bookish Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by The Preppy Book Princess for another book review today. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Yesterday was actually my birthday, and after an extremely rough start to it, I ended up getting to go to the city for a few hours with my husband, my mom and stepdad, and my nephew. We had a wonderful Chinese food dinner, got to soak for a couple of hours at a lovely mineral spa, and finished out the evening with ice cream before heading back home. I was thankful for such a relaxing way to get to spend my birthday, and now I'm thrilled to be back blogging today to share with you all about a wonderful Christian historical fiction title that I recently finished. This was another one of the titles from my 2023 Most Anticipated Releases Post , and  I can't wait to tell you guys all about this one, so keep on reading down below for today's full review. In Farm's Way by Amanda Flower Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I hope that your 2023 is off to a great start! Unfortunately, mine started off with catching the not so fun respiratory flu that has been going around our city, and I ended up having to miss a couple of days of work. We've also been dealing with a bit of work stress and complications and the like, and I'm praying hard that this isn't an indication of how the rest of the year is going to end up going.  However, I want to try and focus on the good, and today I'm excited to share with you all my review of an upcoming release in a new to me cozy mystery series. If you didn't already know, I adore cozy mysteries, and they are one of the few secular genres I still pick up quite regularly. This one definitely sounded intriguing, and I couldn't wait to give it a go. Keep reading down below to find out what I ended up thinking about it. I'm Kirby and I'm so excited you're here. If you've been here before, I'm so excited you've chosen to come by again. Today is the conclusion to my series of 2022 Reading Wrap Ups. Definitely check those out if you haven't already, and today I'm excited to be sharing with you all my favorite reads of 2022. I ended up reading a total of 195 books in 2022, and while there were definitely some duds, there were also many, many amazing titles that I can't wait to tell you all about. I'm not going to say too much about each title, as I don't want this to be as long as a book, but I will list my ratings, and link my reviews below. If I don't have a review posted to my b
