Strangers on a Train by Carolyn Keene Review

Good Morning Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I ended up taking Wednesday off from posting this week. It wasn't exactly planned that way, but it ended up turning out that way. My husband and I have had a crazy busy schedule lately, and have also had a lot of trials and struggles over the last couple of months. We decided to get away for a couple of days to just spend some time relaxing, shopping and swimming, and it was a lovely time away together. Unfortunately, the hotel we were in had pretty terrible internet, so I made the decision to just take Wednesday off, rather than fighting with the wifi to get a post up for you all. I hope you're all having a great week, and that the weekend is going to be a lovely time for you all. Now let's jump right in to today's review.  Last year, I shared my reviews of two of the titles in the Nancy Drew Diaries seri

Veil of Winter by Melanie Dickerson Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray your week is off to a great start, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I have to be honest that the last couple of weeks have been kind of crazy. Work has been insanely busy, and we've had a lot of bad stuff happen that's kind of crushed my spirit down a little bit. However, I'm so thankful for the way that Jesus meets me in every single one of my trials, and every one of my wonderful moments, and I love reading books from authors that truly write Christian fiction. One of my absolute favorites who I know I can always count on to make the faith element at the front and center of all her stories is the lovely Melanie Dickerson. I recently had the chance to read her upcoming release, and today I can't wait to share with you all what I ended up thinking about it. If you'd like to check out my reviews of the first two titles in the series, you can do so using the links belo

Refuge from the Storm by Kristina Hall Review

Happy Friday Everyone :) I pray you've all had a great week, and that you're all looking forward to the weekend. I'm Kirby, and I'm so thankful you decided to drop by The Preppy Book Princess for another book review. I love getting the opportunity to support Indie authors. I've discovered so many amazing stories doing so, and made some really great friends in the process. Last year, Kristina Hall had contacted me about reading and reviewing her newest title, and I've been happily enjoying her books ever since. Her new series is kind of a Christian dystopian type, and I had definitely enjoyed the first title in the series. You can check out that review using the link below: Fled for Refuge After the crazy way the first book ends, I couldn't wait to dive right into book two. Today I'm looking forward to sharing with you all what I ended up thinking about it.  Keep reading below for my full review. Refuge from the Storm by Kristina Hall: Source: Complimen

Buried in a Good Book By Tamara Berry Review

Happy Wednesday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm off to work shortly, but before I head out the door, I wanted to jump right in and share my review of an upcoming May 2022 book release with you all. If you've read my blog before, then you probably already know that I'm a big fan of cozy mysteries. Unfortunately, they are one genre that I haven't had as much time to read in as I've had with some other genres, and I've been trying to change that lately. When I was offered the opportunity to read some of the spring and summer cozies from Poisoned Pen Press, I jumped at the opportunity, and today I'm excited to share one of those reviews with you all. This particular title is from a new to me author, from her brand new series, and I'm looking forward to sharing all about it with you all.  Keep reading below for my full review. Buried in

Curse of the Arctic Star by Carolyn Keene Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Today's of course Good Friday, and I pray that we would all take a moment today to reflect on the fact that all of our sin is what nailed our Lord and Savior to the cross. We will never be worthy of his sacrifice, but I pray that today we can all be grateful, and reflect on the enormity of what He gave us that day.  Before I head off to work today, and the craziness of the long weekend begins, I thought I would love to pop on here and share another book review with you all. A couple of months back, I had read and reviewed one of the titles in the Nancy Drew Diaries series, and recently I finally went back and started the series back at the beginning.  You can find my earlier review below, and today I can't wait to share with you all what I thought about the first book in the series.   Happy Friday Everyone :)  I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Are you planning anything fun for the weekend? I'm going to be working all three days, and then I have some scary stuff going on next week again unfortunately. So this weekend aside from working, I'm hoping to spend some more time relaxing and destressing with some great reads, and also spending some time with my hubby, and getting my house all cleaned up and ready to go in case I don't feel up to it next week. If you've been reading my blog for awhile, then you've probably already heard me express my love of the multi author Doors to the Past series many times before. I'm so thankful I took the opportunity to read and review one of the early titles in the series, as it brought this wonderful series into my life that has truly become one of my all time favorites. If you've never tried this ser
