The Spirit of the Season by Dana Corbit Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you chose to start your day by stopping on by The Preppy Book Princess today. I'm Kirby, and I'm so grateful you're here. It's the third week of October, and honestly while I love fall, I don't enjoy Halloween whatsoever. I'm anxiously awaiting it to be over, so we can move on with celebrating Christmas, the greatest season of them all. I've already shared a few Christmas book reviews on my blog this year, which you can find if you're interested by using the 2023 Christmas Read Tag below the end of this post. However, it seems like a good day to share another with you all today, so I'm going to go ahead and do so. However, this one is part of a series, and if you'd like to check out my reviews of some of the other titles in the series, you can go ahead and do so using the links below. I am posting this one a little bit out of order, but I wanted to go ahead a

The Deadly Shallows by Dani Pettrey Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to join me, Kirby, here on The Preppy Book Princess today. I don't think I honestly realized just many suspense books I've been reading lately until I sat down and saw just how many I've reviewed in the past while. Christian suspense can often be one of my favorite genres, but sometimes it gets a little too much for me, and I definitely prefer some titles over others. One of my favorite authors within this genre has always been Dani Pettrey, and I'd been on the waiting list for her newest release at the library for quite sometime.  It's another of the titles from my Most Anticipated 2022 Releases Post , and when I finally got the chance to read it, I couldn't wait to dive right in, and today I'm looking forward to sharing with you all what I ended up thinking about it. If you're interested in checking out my reviews from the first two books in the series, you c

Winter Wonders by Melody Carlson Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. When I last posted on here, it was right before the long weekend, and I had planned to post again on Thanksgiving Monday. Unfortunately, Saturday night ended up going in a direction I never could have expected, and I ended up having family member rushed to the emergency room. Thank goodness they are home now, but these past few days have been extremely rough, and it definitely wasn't the Thanksgiving we were expecting. Now that things have calmed down at least a teensy bit, I thought I'd jump back on here with a book review for you all today. I personally love discovering new to me series that become instant favorites. I especially enjoy when the series has many titles in it, as it gives me plenty of reading material to look forward to.  A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure of discovering kind of by accident the won

Match Made by Erynn Mangum Review

Hello Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've chosen to take the time to stop by The Preppy Book Princess today. I'm Kirby, and I'm always up for sharing all the bookish things with you all. I could pretty much refer to my 2022 reading year as the year I fell in love with Erynn Mangum's writing. While I had read one of her novels before last year, honestly I just couldn't get enough of her books in 2022. She writes some of the most authentic and realistic books for Christian girls/women out there if you ask me, and today I can't wait to share another of her reviews with you all. Today's review is going to be for book four of the Lauren Holbrook series, and if you'd like to check out my reviews of the first three books in the series, you can do so using the links below: Miss Match Rematch Match Point Now keep on reading down below for today's full review. Today I'm going to be sharing with you all whether this one lived up to the hype for me or not, and I hope you'll all keep on reading down below for my full review. Syrup to No Good by Catherine Bruns Review

Happy Monday Friends :) It's officially October, and I'm so excited for one of my all time favorite months. I love all the ber months if I'm being honest, and fall is my favorite season, and aside from Christmas time, it's also my favorite time of the year. I can't wait for Thanksgiving, warm sweaters, walking in the beautiful foliage, and curling up with wonderful atmospheric reads for the season with a cup of autumn tea and a lovely pumpkin pastry. I'm personally however not the biggest fan of Halloween. As a Christian, I don't get into the creepy side of it, so my atmospheric reads for this month will be fall themed and/or wonderful cozy mysteries. It just so happens that I finished a wonderful cozy mystery at the start of the weekend, and today I can't wait to tell you guys all about it. This is another one of the titles from my 2023 Most Anticipated Releases Post , and I couldn't wait for it to make its way into the book world. If you'd li
