Lake Season by Denise Hunter Review

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Can you believe Halloween is tomorrow? I honestly feel like October went by so fast, it feels like it was just September yesterday. It also doesn't feel like October outside since we're once again blanketed by heavy amounts of snow where I live. I'm not personally the biggest fan of Halloween, but I do wish the weather had stayed warmer for all the little munchkins to be able to go trick or treating tomorrow night. My personal plans for Halloween currently include curling up with Jaime Jo Wright's upcoming book release, and possibly taking my nephews trick or treating for a little bit. Do you guys have any plans for Halloween this year? For today's post, I'm excited to share with you all a review for Denise Hunter's upcoming book release that's going to be out into the world in less than two weeks! I'm so excited to share this beautiful story with you all, so let's go ahead and jump right into the revi

Coral by Sara Ella Review

Happy Monday Everyone :) I hope you all had a great weekend, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Do any of you have fun plans for Halloween? I don't tend to do too much for Halloween, as it's not a holiday that personally means much to me, but I do hope to go trick or treating with my nephews. I also plan on curling up with Jaime Jo Wright's upcoming book release as it seems like the perfect scary read to enjoy on Halloween. At the end of 2018, I had shared a post of the 2019 book releases I was looking for the most forward to.   Today I'd like to share a review with you all for one of those anticipated reads that I finished a few days ago. 5 Inspirational Reads I Just Added To My TBR #6

Happy Monday Everyone :) How has your week been so far? Mine has gotten off to a bit of a busy start, as we have to go out of town tomorrow, and there's a lot that has to be done before we do so. When I was trying to figure out what I wanted to talk about for today's post, I realized that it has been forever since I last shared the recent additions to my tbr list. I used to really enjoy doing these posts, and so I decided go ahead and do another for today's post. Here's the five most recent Christian fiction titles that I've recently added to my tbr list. Nowhere To Be Found by Emily Thomas: I recently discovered this series, and I've been very intrigued by the synopsis, and by it being a mystery series about an old historic home that's been converted into a library. I'm hoping to get to this one sooner rather than later, but if I do end up enjoying it, it's going to be a huge time commitment since the series does have more than twe

Hallmark Book To Movie Adaptations For Christmas 2019

Hello Bookish Friends :) I hope you're all looking forward to the weekend! In the past years of having my blog, I've done a few posts on the Hallmark movies coming out for the Christmas season that are based off of books. These continue to be some of the most popular posts on my blog, and since we once again got snow last week, it seemed like a good time to go ahead and highlight some of the titles coming this year. You can check out my previous posts here , here and here . I have to start off with the one that I'm personally the most excited about: Christmas On My Mind starring Ashley Greene and Andrew Walker which is going to be based off of...... Denise Hunter is one of my favorite authors, and I can't wait to see how Hallmark adapts this beautiful story. Ashley Greene and Andrew Walker are perfectly cast for these characters, and it will be interesting to see how they change this summer themed book to be Christmas themed instead. This one will air De

Last week I shared a book review for A Sweethaven Summer by Courtney Walsh with you all, and today I'm excited to share my review for the second book of the series with you all. The Thanksgiving Book Tag

Happy Monday Everyone :) And Happy Thanksgiving to all of my fellow Canadians! We actually ended up celebrating Thanksgiving early this year. On Friday we enjoyed celebrating with my mom and stepdad and that side of the family, and on Saturday we celebrate with my dad and his fiance, and that side of the family. It was an awesome weekend, and I love being able to spend time with family at the holidays.  However, since it is Canadian Thanksgiving, it only seemed appropriate that I participate in the Thanksgiving Book Tag. I've done lots of themed book tags over the years, but I've never actually done a Thanksgiving themed one before. I decided that needed to change this year, and so I'm going to participate in this fun tag that was created by Fangirlscity  and that I discovered over on the sassy geek . 1. Bread- What book is purely fluff, and has no real plot line? I couldn't stand this story when I finally got around to reading it a few months ago. I
