The Disney Princess: A Celebration of Art and Creativity by Charles Solomon Review

Good Morning Bookish World :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Today's review is actually going to be a little different than the usual here on my blog. I usually review fiction, mostly Christian fiction, and only review a non fiction title here and there. When I do review non fiction, it's usually always Christian living or devotionals, so this will be a pretty big difference for my blog. Today I'm actually going to share my review of a book I recently finished that focused around the history of the animation of the Disney princesses.  Keep reading below for my full review. Anything But Plain by Suzanne Woods Fisher Review

Hello Bookish Friends :) Happy Friday, and thank you so much for choosing to stop by The Preppy Book Princess today. Can I be honest and state that this last couple of days has not been the easiest? I received some pretty devastating news yesterday, and sometimes it's ridiculously hard letting yourself grieve when it seems that much easier to just push the feelings aside. I'm thankful for Jesus and my amazing hubby as I navigate another trying week, and I'm also thankful for the many wonderful Christian fiction authors who continue to put out titles that uplift our faith and give us a wonderful escape from the horrors of reality. I recently finished the newest release by one of my favorite authors, and today I'm looking forward to sharing all about it with you all. I hope you'll all keep reading down below for my full review. Authentically Izzy by Pepper D. Basham Review

Happy Wednesday Everyone :) I pray that you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess.  Have you ever had the experience of picking up a book that somehow manages to combine almost all of your favorite bookish tropes together in one story, and instantly feels like it was written just for you? This has happened to me a few times throughout my book blogger journey, but perhaps never as much as with the story I'm here to review with you all today. I can't possibly wait to start gushing all about this fantastic book that had me glued to its pages, so I hope you'll all keep on reading below where I will be sharing my full review of Pepper D. Basham's upcoming release. Authentically Izzy by Pepper D. A Doomful of Sugar by Catherine Bruns Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray that today finds you all doing well, and I'm thankful you decided to stop by The Preppy Book Princess. If I'm being honest, last week was a really rough one for me. I was going through some stuff, and people have been honestly kind of awful of late. Lately, every time I have to encounter people whether at work or out and about, everyone just seems to be in a bad mood, and taking it out on those around them. It makes me sad that this kind of smallness has to be such a big part of our world, and I think we can all do so much better than this. That being said, there were still a couple of wonderful things about my week. Over the weekend we actually got our first snowfall of the season! It was beautiful, and gave off all the perfect chilly day vibes that made the ideal atmosphere for curling up with a great book.  And curling up with a great book I did! I couldn't have picked better weather for reading the first title in a brand new cozy mystery serie

Return to Maren by Katherine Barger Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by The Preppy Book Princess today. I'm Kirby, and I'm excited you're here. Do you have any exciting plans for the weekend? I'm going to be working today and Saturday, but I'm hoping to have some time to get some house projects done on Sunday. As well, I'd like to curl up with some more great reads. And speaking of great reads, I'm excited to get to share today's review with you all. Two years ago, I had the pleasure of reading and reviewing the first title in Katherine Barger's Exiled trilogy, and it became a book that ended up meaning so much to me. I loved the second one just as much, and I've been waiting for the third book to release ever since. If you'd like to check out my reviews of either of the first two books, you can do so using the links below: Fortune's Fall The Exiles Otherwise, keep on reading down below as I can'

I'd heard great things about her books from others, and I was excited to dive right into her upcoming release, and find out if it was going to live up to all the hype. I hope you'll all keep reading down below, and stick around to read today's full review. Love, Lies and Sleigh Rides by D.E. Malone Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm actually looking forward to today. My hubby and I are going to head out on a little bit of a road trip to do some Christmas shopping. It might seem early to some, but I've actually already started my list a couple months back, and I hope to get a lot more of it crossed off by the end of the day. Since we are doing something fun and festive today, I thought kicking off the morning by sharing another Christmas book review with you all was a wonderful idea. If you've read my blog before, then you've probably heard me mention time and time again just how much I love small town romances, and over the past couple of years, D.E. Malone has become one of my favorite authors within this genre. I've reviewed quite a few of the other titles in the Blueberry Point Romance series, and you can check those out usi

Love Always, Christmas by Karen Schaler Review

Happy Tuesday Friends :) I pray you all had a great weekend, and if you're visiting my blog from Canada, then I hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving! I don't usually post on Tuesdays, but tomorrow is going to be a bit of crazy day for me, and so I decided to go ahead and share this post with you all today. Now that it's past Thanksgiving in Canada, it seems the perfect time to start rolling out more of my Christmas reviews for 2022, and I'm excited to share another one of these reviews with you all today.  I had the pleasure of reading my first book by Karen Schaler last year, and I thought it a was a wonderful and heartwarming tale that gave me all the warm fuzzies. You can check out that review using the link below: A Royal Christmas Fairy Tale Ever since, I've been wanting to give another of her books a try, and I couldn't wait to dive right into her newest release. Even more exciting, this particular book releases today! So if it sounds like something

Disney at Dawn by Ridley Pearson Review

Hello Everyone :) Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian Friends :) And Happy Monday to everyone reading from somewhere else. My family actually had our celebration yesterday, so today I will be going into work for a few hours, then catching up on some housework, and finally curling up with some great reads to finish out the day. What are your plans for the holiday?  I pray that today you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I mentioned in a previous post that I've been embarking on a reread of Ridley Pearson's Kingdom Keepers series. This series has been a favorite of mine since I read the first book back in 2007, and I've actually already reread it a few times. However, I did decide to embark on this reread before my opinions of Disney drastically changed, and so, I don't see myself rereading any further than this book. This series will continue to be a old favorite, but I don'

Like the Wind by Robin Lee Hatcher Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm Kirby, and I love getting to share my love of the written word with you all. If you're a fellow Canadian, then happy start to the Thanksgiving weekend. I pray you all have a wonderful holiday with your families, and also, that you're able to find time to curl up with some great reads. If you're not reading from Canada, then I hope you have a fantastic weekend, and still manage to find time to spend with loved ones, and curl up with great reads. Over the last few years, Robin Lee Hatcher has become one of my personal faves. She always writes her stories (and characters) with such heart, and I always look forward to reading her new releases. Today I can't wait to share with you all my review of her upcoming release, and I hope you'll all keep reading down below to see if this one lived up to the hype I had for it. Like t

Happy Wednesday Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. How has October been going for you so far? Unfortunately, one of my favorite months has not been off to the greatest start, as a lot of things seem to have piled on top of another, but I'm keeping the faith that things will get better soon, and until then, I'm thankful for great books to cozy up with. I recently finished a new Christian suspense release, and today I'm excited to tell you all about it. It Came Upon a Midnight Shear by Allie Pleiter Review

Good Morning Bookish World :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me here on The Preppy Book Princess. Let me ask you, are you a fan of cozy mysteries? I adore them (as long as they actually are cozy and clean), and I've come to have quite a few favorite series within this genre over the years. Last year, one of my all time favorite Love Inspired authors Allie Pleiter tried her hand at a cozy mystery series for the first time, and I was lucky enough to get to be on her street team for it. I didn't completely love the first title in the series, but the second one was a wonderful addition, and I was very much looking forward to diving into the third, especially since it's a Christmas themed mystery. If you'd like to check out my reviews of the first two books in the series, you can do so using the links below, otherwise keep on reading for my review of the upcoming third title in the series.
