Alex and Ani Collection

Hey Guys,

I hope you're all looking forward to a great weekend!

I personally was planning this weekend for getting housework caught up, working on my blog, and curling up with some great books I have out from the library.

Unfortunately, as we all know well, life rarely goes the way we plan, and yesterday I got the bad news that the girl who's position I'm taking at work had to take maternity leave a few weeks early, and didn't have much advance notice of having to do so.

So I'm a little stressed right now as to the huge amounts of work that just got dumped into my lap, that I was in no way prepared for, and so to put it mildly, my plans for this weekend have now been altered dramatically.

I am still currently working on a book review that I'd planned to post today, but it's not finished and I don't want to deprive the book of the attention it still deserves, and so today I decided to do a fashion post instead.

I fell in love with Alex and Ani bracelets the first time I saw them, but they were kind of hard to come across where we live. Last year I finally was able to start collecting them, and I thought it would be a fun idea for a post to share with you all which bracelets I currently own. :) One of my favorite things about Alex and Ani is the positive meanings behind each individual bracelet, and it definitely makes me more inclined to support companies that believe in positivity.

When we were in Disney World back in Septmber, the Alex and Ani store was a place I frequented often. I loved this adorable bracelet, as penguins are some of my favorite animals, and I also loved the fact that it supported the associated of zoos and aquariums. The meaning of this one is "to live with purpose, to give love without question, and to be bold in your pursuits."

This is my favorite of all my bracelets. I love the Disney collection, and these colored ones are so beautiful that I definitely plan on buying more. Ariel is my favorite Disney princess, and I love that this charm tells you to "follow your dreams."

I have yet to see The Force Awakens, but I love BB8, and I knew I needed this bracelet as soon as I saw it. I didn't end up purchasing it while we were at Disney, as I felt I'd already spent enough, but my husband ended up surprising me with it on Christmas morning, and it's barely left my wrist since.

Frozen is one of my all time favorite Disney movies, and so I love having this Anna and Elsa bracelet to wear with my other Alex and Anis.

My last bracelet from the Disney collection is this beautiful Snow White one. Snow White is such a special character, as Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was Walt Disney's first full length animated feature, and it opened the door for so many amazing movies after it.

This was my first Alex and Ani bracelet, as I love anything nautical or beach themed. After learning that it represents beauty, intuition and luck, I knew it was the perfect choice for my first bracelet.

And my last bracelet was actually another one that was a gift from my husband. While I was picking out my sea shell bracelet, he saw this one, and learned that it represented rebirth, magic and healing. He thought it was a perfect fit for me, and it became so special to me because of how he picked it out himself. As well, I saw yesterday this bracelet is currently on sale for $16.80 on the Alex and Ani website, so I highly suggest picking it up if it's one you're interested in.

I can't wait to add more of these amazing bracelets to my collection in the future, and I thank you guys so much for reading.

Have a great weekend, and I'll see you in my next post.
