Scripture of the Week: September 3rd, 2020

 Happy Thursday Friends :)

I hope and pray that September is treating you well so far, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another edition of Scripture of the Week here on The Preppy Book Princess.

I talked last week about a spiritual warfare battle I've been going through, and I'm still fighting my way through it. I'm trying to turn to prayer and God's word as much as I possibly can to battle against the enemy, and today I'd like to share with you another Bible verse that has been a tremendous help to me lately.

Psalm 56:3

"When I am afraid, I will trust in you."

I've loved this verse ever since I first started reading the Mandie books by Lois Gladys Leppard as a young child, as it was one of Mandie's favorite verses and often mentioned throughout the series. It may seem to be a simple verse, but it's meaning is extremely powerful. When I'm afraid I will turn to God instead of turning to fear and anxiety, and it's an extremely easy verse to memorize for those times when you need a scripture to help you through challenging times.

I'll be praying that this verse will be a source of inspiration for each one of you, the same way it has been for me.

Have a great long weekend and God Bless!
