Top Ten Tuesday: Books That Awaken The Travel Bug In Me

Happy Tuesday Everyone :)

I'm very excited to be taking part in Top Ten Tuesday this week, especially for such a fun topic.

Here's the ten books that awaken the travel bug in me!

1) Once Upon A Prince by Rachel Hauck:

While I knew the European country featured in Rachel Hauck's Royal Wedding series is fictional, it still inspires me to want to visit Europe someday. As well, I've always wanted to see Georgia which is the secondary setting for these books, so it's a win win in my eyes.

2) Waterfall by Lisa T Bergen:

While it may be a time travel novel set in Medieval Rome, it still inspires me to want to visit modern Italy someday.

3) Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins:

I've always had a fantasy about how amazing Paris seems, and I hope to see it for myself one day. My favorite novel of all time definitely gave me wanderlust when I finished it for the first time.

4) Karen's Big Weekend by Ann M. Martin:

I'm going to be nostalgic, and include a childhood pick. For as long as I can remember one of my dream vacations has been New York City at Christmastime, and it all started with me reading this book when I was six or seven. Someday I will make this trip happen, and it'll be from this book's inspiration.

5) Lovestruck in Los Angeles by Rachel Schurig:

I could have chosen from so many books that have inspired me to want to visit London someday, but I'm going to go with this one-one of my all time favorites.

6) Disney After Dark by Ridley Pearson:

Literally, every time I read any of Ridley Pearson's Kingdom Keeper novels, I want to go back to Disney World.

7) The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han:

Every time I read this beloved series by Jenny Han, I'm inspired to want to go to the beach.

8) Distant Echoes by Colleen Coble:

Hawaii is another dream vacation of mine and my hubby's, and I've read so many books set there. However, I remember really really wanting to visit Hawaii after I finished this Colleen Coble title.

9) The Secret Diamond Sisters by Michelle Madow:

Las Vegas was another vacation destination I'd always wanted to visit, and even more so after reading this young adult title by Michelle Madow. Even though when I did finally visit Vegas it was nothing like what I expected, I still have fond memories of the anticipation of visiting after first reading this book.

10) Love and Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch:

After finishing this adorable contemporary recently, I'm even more inclined to want to visit Italy someday!
