October 2018 TRB List.

Hello Bookish Friends :)

Last month I managed to not only finish all of the thirteen books I put on my TBR list, but I actually over doubled my list and ended up finishing 27 books. You can read all about my September reads in my wrap up post.

I have high hopes for October being a fantastic reading month as well, and today I'm going to share with you all the books I hope to get to this month.

The To All The Boys I've Loved Before trilogy by Jenny Han:

These are my friend's and my book club picks for October, and I'm very much looking forward to rereading the first two, and finally reading the third book.

The Queen of Zombie Hearts and A Mad Zombie Party by Gena Showalter:

I hope to finish this series this month, and am looking forward to doing so.

You're The One That I Want by Susan May Warren:

Also looking forward to finishing the Christiansen family series this month.

Ash and Quill by Rachel Caine:

I'm not looking too terribly forward to this one, but I'm still wanting to read it to find out what happens next.

In Peppermint Peril by Joy Avon:

This one's an arc I currently have from NetGalley, and it's the perfect choice as I've really been in the mood for cozy mysteries lately.

Get Even by Gretche McNeil:

I've had this one sitting on my bookshelf for a couple of years, and I figured October would be a good month to finally give it a try.

Autumn Brides by Kathryn Springer, Katie Ganshert, and Beth K. Vogt:

I'm very much looking forward to reading this one, especially since Katie Ganshert wrote one of the stories in it.

Second Chance Sweethearts by Kristen Ethridge:

I want to try and work my way through all The Love Inspired's I own that I haven't read yet, and this is my pick for this month.

Maze of Bones by Rick Riordan:

Neil and I are currently buddy reading this one.

Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen:

And finally:

Paperback Crush by Gabrielle Moss:

I currently have this one from NetGalley, and let me tell you that words cannot even begin to describe how excited I am to read it. As someone who gobbled up Sweet Valley, Baby Sitters Club, Saddle Club, Silver Blades, Sleepover Friends etc etc, this book is something I couldn't wait to get my hands on and I'm so over the moon that I get to advance read it.

Here's to hoping October will be another fantastic reading month!

Thanks so much for reading guys, and have a great rest of your day!

We've had some really nice days, and my husband and I were finally able to put our garden in, and various flowers and the like. We've also had a couple of lovely, rainy days as well, and I love how green everything is looking in our yard right now. For today's post, I'm excited to once again be linking up with the lovely Hoarding Books  for another edition of First Line Friday. This fun weekly meme simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. For this week's first line, I'm going to be sharing from Denise Hunter's recently released title that I ended up absolutely loving. Carolina Breeze by Denise Hunter: About The Book: A jilted bride. A struggling innkeeper. And a romantic mountain getaway that changes everything. Rising Hollywood star Mia Emerson is looking for a safe place to land in the wake of a public breakup a

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest
