Top 5 Wednesday: Books You Want To Read Before The End Of The Year

Hey Everyone!

As summer is coming to an end, I hope everyone's enjoying their days, and looking forward to Fall like I am.

Today is once again Wednesday, and that of course means that I'm here to do another Top 5 Wednesday post. I always look forward to these as it gives me the opportunity to communicate with fellow booklovers, and see everyone's varying opinions and answers to the awesome topics!

If you're unfamiliar with Top 5 Wednesday, it's a weekly meme that was created by Lainey from gingerreadslainey on Youtube, and is now moderated by Sam from Thoughts On Tomes from Youtube. The group communicates through goodreads, and it's a great way to become further involved in the book community.

If you're interested in becoming a part of it, or are just wanting to learn more about it, here's the link to the goodreads page:

Today's topic is "Books You Want To Read Before The End Of The Year." I had a really hard time narrowing this down to just five books, as there's so many unread books sitting on my shelf that I've been meaning to get to forever, but here's my choices:

1) Winter by Marissa Meyer:

The Lunar Chronicles is one of my all time favorite series, and this book was actually the only thing I asked for for Christmas last year. However, it's been sitting on my shelf ever since Christmas, as I just haven't got to reading it yet. I definitely need to remedy this ASAP, as I can't wait to find out what happens to all of these beloved characters, and I really want to finish this series before Heartless of her next series comes out.

2) The Crown by Kiera Cass:

Despite the negative criticisms associated with The Selection Series, I personally love it, and again and again it's made my list of favorite series. However, I have not actually read the final book yet, and that is simply because I'm sad to see it finally come to an end. :( I do hope to read this soon, I'm just still feeling a little melancholy about it being the last book.

3) Walk The Edge by Katie McGarry:

Katie McGarry's books are always some of my favorite contemporaries. I loved the Pushing The Limits series, and I really enjoyed Nowhere But Here, the first book in The Thunder Road series, however I purchased the second book back in April, and I seem to keep passing it over in order to finish other series I've been working on, and I definitely want to read this one before the end of the year, so I can be already for the release of the third book.

4) Unspoken by C.C. Hunter:

I've honestly been enjoying Shadow Falls After Dark just as much as I enjoyed the original Shadow Falls novels. I've yet to read the third book in this series, but I definitely plan to do so soon, as I can't wait for the release of the fourth and final book, as I'm definitely looking forward to reading Miranda's story.

5) The Shop On Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber:

I've stated over and over again on my blog just how much I love Debbie Macomber's books, however I have never gotten around to reading one of her most beloved series, Blossom Street. I definitely want to get on with reading this series, especially since it was one of the main inspirations for her coloring book, which I'm currently using and loving, and I definitely hope to read at least the first book before the end of the year.

So that's the five books I definitely want to read before the end of the year guys. I can't wait to see which books everyone else picked!

Thanks for reading, and I'll see you in my next post.
