I'm especially excited for today's review, as I'm about to share with you all a review of one of my absolutely favorite reads of 2022! I ended up including this one on my list of favorite books I read in 2022, and I can't wait to tell you guys all about it.

This one was truly unlike anything I'd ever read before, and I can't wait to get to carry on with the rest of the series.

I hope you'll all keep on reading below for my full review.

My Review:

When the Day Comes was a wonderful story, and was definitely one of my favorite reads of 2022. As someone who reads a lot of time travel, dual timeline, and historical fiction novels, I can honestly say that this is one of my the most original stories I've ever had the pleasure of reading, and I found myself glued to the pages throughout the entire thing.

Libby was an incredibly likeable protagonist, and it was easy to find myself sympathizing with every situation she finds herself in. I most admired how above all, she was determined to honor God in every situation, and refused to believe He didn't have a master hand on everything she's had to experience throughout her time traveling adventures.

Both historical settings were beautifully done, and I enjoyed the fact that I haven't read too much of either of these time periods/settings before, and I thought the vivid imagery and descriptions really made them come alive on the page.

The time travel portion was effortlessly put together, and I admired how the author weaved such a complex storyline, without it every being confusing or hard to follow for this reader personally. Of all the time travel novels I've ever read, I can wholeheartedly state that this is one of the best ones.

I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but the ending both surprised me, and gave me all the feels. I honestly cannot wait to continue on with this series, and to discover what Gabrielle Meyer has next in store for her readers.

Final Rating: 5/5.

I can't recommend this one enough, and I'm so happy there's another time travel novel option for Christian fiction fans.

Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day :)
