Active Defense by Lynette Eason Review

Hello Friends :) I hope you've all been doing well, and I want to thank you all for taking the time to join me today here on The Preppy Book Princess. It seems in this insanely dark world that sometimes making a difference is daunting. My prayer for my blog is that it would bring happiness and joy to even one person reading it, and showcase that there are still clean and faith based reads out there to enjoy. Even when it sometimes seems impossible to find them with the content being included in the media nowadays. Today I've got a review for you all of a recently released Christian suspense title that literally had me on the edge of my seat for the entire story. This particular book is book three in the series and you can find my reviews of the first two books in the series below: Collateral Damage Acceptable Risk Now let's jump right into today's review. Active Defense by Lynette Eason: Source: Libby App Publisher: Revell Publication Date: January 5th, 2021 Genre: Ch...

Hello Friends :) Thank you all for finding your way over to The Preppy Book Princess this morning. Are you someone who enjoys rereading? I adore getting to reread books, and yet my reviewing schedule has been so full lately that I haven't had a lot of time to do so. One of the series I've been really wanting to reread is the Cape Light series by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer, and a few months ago I finally had the chance to reread the first book. After that I got too busy with reviewing to continue on, but a couple of months I finally had the chance to sit down and gobble up the second book. Since the first time I read this book I wasn't book reviewing yet, I knew this time around that I wanted to try and review at least some of the earlier titles in this series. Home Song by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer: Source: Christmas Gift From My Husband Publisher: Berkley Books Publication Date: 2002 Genre: Christian Fiction/Contemporary Romance Series: Cape Light Sy...

The Heart of Splendid Lake by Amy Clipston Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I hope this week has found you well, and that you're all looking forward to the weekend. I apologize for my absence this week. I ended up spending five nights at the lake with my family, and while I had still planned on posting on my blog, the weak and spotty Wi-Fi made that a no go. However, it was really nice to get to disconnect for a few days, and spend some time with my family. I  had so much fun with my nephew, my mom, my stepdad, and enjoyed the short visits we were able to have with some of my other family as well. While we were on vacation, I ended up getting a chance to read Amy Clipston's upcoming contemporary novel, and I couldn't wait to share with you all what I ended up thinking about it.
