Last year, I had an accident and ended up damaging my left hand. I basically went a couple of weeks without being able to use it too much, and it was not exactly the most pleasant of experiences. Awhile ago on my blog, I read and reviewed Winterborne Home for Vengeance and Valor by Ally Carter, and I loved it. You can find that review here . I've always loved her books in the past, and I was beyond excited to discover that this newer release by her was pretty much squeaky clean. That hasn't been my experience with many secular novels as of late, and it was such a pleasant surprise. Ever since finishing that one, I've been looking forward to diving into the second book. I am so excited about the book I'm going to talk about with you all today. I've been a fan of Ally Carter for quite sometime. Her books are always amazing, but also relatively clean, and I've wanted to read her new middle grade series ever since it was first announced. However, I was also a little leery as I've had some bad experiences with newer secular published titles content wise, and I was really hoping that wasn't going to be the case with this one.
