One Enchanted Christmas by Melissa Tagg Review

Hello Friends :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'll be the first to admit that I have a lot of favorite authors. There's just too many whose books I love to choose only a couple of names when I'm asked that question.  One of the names on my list of favorite authors though is always Melissa Tagg. Since contemporaries are my favorite stories, it's probably not surprising that she's one of my favorites. I'd actually never gotten around to reading her Christmas novellas (shocking I know!), and since I've been in the mood for Christmas reads lately, hers seemed like a perfect choice. Not surprisingly, I ended up loving this quirky but sweet contemporary story, and today I can't wait to share with you all what I ended up thinking about it. First Line Friday: A Sweethaven Romance

Happy Friday Friends :) I hope you're all enjoying the last little bit of summer. Are you sad to see summer come to an end, or are you looking forward to fall? I personally love fall and it's my all time favorite season. However, I always find the changing of the seasons a tad bittersweet, although I'm very much looking forward to all the wonderful things fall brings with it. For today's post, I'm excited to be linking up again with Hoarding Books for another edition of First Line Friday. First Line Friday is a fun, weekly blog meme that simply consists of sharing the first line from the book you're currently reading. For the last little while, I've been trying to focus on reading the many books I've added to my kindle over the last couple of years that I'd never got around to reading, and I've discovered many amazing books in the process. Today's first line comes from the book I most recently started reading on my kindle. A Sweethaven Rom...

Until I Met You by Tari Faris Review

Hello Friends :) Can you believe that August is almost already over? I'm personally never too sad to see summer come to an end. Fall is by far my favorite season, and the time period from September through December is my favorite part of the year. However, this summer really seemed to go by fast. Possibly this was due to all the craziness that currently exists within our world, but whatever the reason, it seems a little crazy to me that it's already almost time to start decorating for fall. My hubby is taking some vacation days in September, and while we're not ending up with the big Disney vacation that we'd started planning back in December, we are still looking forward to a few days away, and some time to read and relax. If you also have a relaxing vacation coming up and you're looking for a great read to curl up with, then you definitely want to stay tuned for today's book review. The Christmas Swap by Melody Carlson Review

Hello Friends :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. It's been a bit of a tough few days for me personally. I've been dealing with some personal stuff that's kind of dragged my spirits down a bit, but I'm so thankful for Jesus during all these hard times as I know He is always always there for me. With His help I know I can get through anything that comes my way, and I'm forever grateful. One of my favorite things to do when I'm having a tough week is read Christian fiction. I love how uplifting these books are, and since it's August I thought it seemed like the perfect time to go ahead and start reading some of the Christmas ARCs that I currently have from NetGalley. I'm one of those weird people that can read Christmas stories all year long, but I especially enjoy getting to read them in the months leading up to Christmas. Today I'm excited to be shar...
