The Preppy Book Princess

  Good Morning Sweet Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you've taken the time to join me (Kirby) here on The Preppy Book Princess this morning.  Can I be honest that life has been a little rough as of late? There seems to be so much craziness in our world, more so everyday, and somedays it's hard to even want to be part of our crazy society. However, those days are the days we need Jesus more than ever, and I love getting to spend time with Him rather that be through prayer, worship or studying His Word. And one other thing that I've found that helps me tremendously is to stick with reading books that honor Him, and provide some extra light in this dark and evil world.   Happy Monday Friends and Happy 2021! I'm sure a lot of you have noticed that I've been pretty absent from my blog and my social medias the last couple of months, and I am trying to work on changing that. I've been through a lot in the last few months, and quite frankly, I felt I needed to make some major changes in my life. I've been feeling really discouraged from the way our world has been changing, and it saddens me the most to see how many Christians seem to see nothing wrong with so many of these changes. I've really felt a conviction in my spirit to change a lot of the ways I've been living my life that weren't lining up with God's Word, and one of those changes was the type of media I was allowing into my mind. I'm extremely embarrassed of some of the secular books, shows and music I was letting myself be entertained by, and I've decided that enough is enough. I'm going into 2021 with much stronger standards for the type of materials...
