Alex and Eliza by Melissa de la Cruz Review

Hello Friends :) I pray you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I've been thinking of switching my blog up a bit in the upcoming months. I love sharing my book reviews, and I will definitely continue to do so. However, I'd also love to go back to doing some other features like tags, ranked and reviewed, checking back on old book hauls, etc etc. Since I go through so many books, especially lately, that would probably mean either adding an extra day to my three regular days of blogging, or perhaps doing a couple of weeks of daily blogging to get caught up with everything. It feels like Christmas was just a couple of weeks ago, and now we're well on our way to spring. The review I'm going to share with you all today is for a book that I actually read and wrote this review back in July, but never had the chance to post it. Hopefully you're all having a great Monday so far, and hopefully you'll all enjoy reading this review.  I love young adult mystery novels, and I when I heard about a fantast...

A few weeks ago I read (and loved) the Doon series by Carey Corp and Lorie Langdon. So when I heard that Lorie Langdon had a new book that was basically a YA re imagining of Oliver Twist, I was intrigued, and knew I wanted to give it a try. Today I'd like to share a quick review with you all about my thoughts of it. Olivia Twist by Lorie Langdon: Source: Library Publisher: Blink Publication Date: March 6th, 2018 Genre: Young Adult Fiction/Historical Fiction Synopsis: Olivia Brownlow is no damsel in distress. Born in a workhouse and raised as a boy among thieving London street gangs, she is as tough and cunning as they come. When she is taken in by her uncle after a caper gone wrong, her life goes from fighting and stealing on the streets to lavish dinners and soirees as a debutante in high society. But she can’t seem to escape h...
