The Summer Before by Ann M. Martin Review

Hello Friends :) I hope you're all having a great week, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Today's review is a super nostalgic one for me, and I'm guessing it probably will be for a lot of you too. I grew up first loving the Baby Sitters Little Sister series before moving on to The Babysitters Club series, and words cannot express how much I loved loved loved these books and characters. I personally cannot stand the newish Netflix show, but I loved the older TV show and the movie.  When I heard that Ann M. Martin had written a prequel novella to this much beloved series, I couldn't wait to dive into it, I can't believe it took me this many years to find out about it. After finishing it,  I can't wait to share with you all what I ended up thinking about it. The Summer Before by Ann M. Sketchy Behavior by Erynn Mangum Review

Hello Everyone, and Happy October! Like Anne Shirley said so beautifully, "I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."  I've lately been finding myself in the mood for rereading, and as chillier weather is finally supposed to be making its way our way later this week, it's putting me even more in the mood to do so.  I recently reread a title that I never ended up reviewing the first time I read it, so today I'm excited to share my review of this fun title with you all. Keep on reading for my full review. Sketchy Behavior by Erynn Mangum: Source: Libby App Publisher: Zondervan Publication Date: August 9th, 2011 Genre: Christian Fiction/Young Adult Fiction Synopsis: Drawing Conclusions or Drafting Disaster?Other than harboring a somewhat obsessive fondness for Crispix and completely swearing-off boys after a bad date (don’t ask), sixteen-year-old Kate Carter is about as ordinary as they come, except for her two notable talents: art and sarcasm. Mercy Undeserved by Kristina Hall Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I pray that this day finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you for joining me here today on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm extremely excited for the upcoming week. My hubby and I usually take our annual vacation in September as that's always the easiest for his work schedule, and it's finally almost here. Obviously, Covid has changed the way we will be vacationing, but nonetheless, I'm excited to have some time away with my husband, just enjoying each other's company and getting away from all the stress for a bit to celebrate our eight year wedding anniversary. I'm actually considering doing a bit of "trip report" on my blog of our trip when we get back, but I'll have to see how that ends up going. Because I will be gone for part of the next week, I am fairly certain that I will not be doing my regular three blog posts, as I want to take time to actually enjoy my vacation. However, I will be back soon, and in the mean...
