Hallmark Book To Movie Adaptations For Christmas 2019

Hello Bookish Friends :) I hope you're all looking forward to the weekend! In the past years of having my blog, I've done a few posts on the Hallmark movies coming out for the Christmas season that are based off of books. These continue to be some of the most popular posts on my blog, and since we once again got snow last week, it seemed like a good time to go ahead and highlight some of the titles coming this year. You can check out my previous posts here , here and here . I have to start off with the one that I'm personally the most excited about: Christmas On My Mind starring Ashley Greene and Andrew Walker which is going to be based off of...... Denise Hunter is one of my favorite authors, and I can't wait to see how Hallmark adapts this beautiful story. Ashley Greene and Andrew Walker are perfectly cast for these characters, and it will be interesting to see how they change this summer themed book to be Christmas themed instead. This one will air De...

Bookish Hallmark Movies

Good Morning Friends :) I hope you're all having a great day, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another bookish post here on The Preppy Book Princess. If you've been reading my blog for awhile, then you're probably aware that I'm a big fan of the Hallmark channel. I continue to love the fact that they produce wholesome family movies that I never have to be nervous about letting my niece and nephews watch with me, and I adore the sweet romances that play on the channel through each and every season. I tend to blog about Hallmark movies fairly frequently, and in fact, my Hallmark posts continue to be the most popular ones on my blog. Today though I'd like to focus on the fact that Hallmark has actually made quite a few movies for us book nerds. Have any of you guys realized just how many of their movies are about bookstores or authors or the like? So for a fun different kind of post, today I'm going to compile all of the boo...

Hello Bookish Friends :) Are you the type of person that can read Christmas reads year round? Or do you only read them during the actual Christmas season? I can actually read them all year long, but I especially love getting to read them around this time of year. There's always so many good ones to choose from, and this year I had the pleasure of reading one by an author that I'd never read before. Christmas Joy by Nancy Naigle: Source: Gift From My Hubby Publisher: St. Martin's Griffin Publication Date: October 18th, 2016 Genre: Contemporary Romance Synopsis: A heartwarming Christmas story about family, friendship and finding love in unexpected places. Joy Holbrook might be all work and no play, but that changes when her Aunt Ruby takes a fall that lands her in a rehabilitation center before the holidays. Love Finds You In Charm Ohio by Annalisa Daughety Book To Movie Review

Hello Everyone :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me today on The Preppy Book Princess. Today's such a beautiful day where we live and we're getting ready to take our boat out to the lake. I'm looking so forward to being on the water, and curling up in my favorite seat with a good book. Before we head out though, I wanted to make good and sure to get my blog post up for all of you guys! I always enjoy getting to see a movie based off of a book, and comparing what changes got made when the book was adapted for the screen. Recently I finished Annalisa Daughety's Love Finds You In Charm Ohio, and after watching the movie I thought it would be fun to do a comparison review of the two for you all today. Let's start with the book: Love Finds You In Charm Ohio is a heart warming, Amish fiction novel about discovering the life you're meant to live, and trusting God to provide the right path to follow. Emma ...

Hallmark Book To Movie Adapations For The 2018 Christmas Season.

Hello Friends :) Can you believe Christmas is officially less than six months away? Of course as you guys know, one of my favorite parts of the Christmas season is new Hallmark movies, and I only wish we could finally get the Hallmark channel in Canada one day. If you've been reading my blog for awhile, then you'd know that I particularly love when the Hallmark Channel adapts beloved books for their fabulous Christmas movie line up, and that I always try and share with you guys whenever I find out about new ones being adapted. And in fact, last year's post which you can find here is still the top viewed post on my blog. I'm beyond ecstatic to say that Hallmark is planning an amazing lineup of 34 new holiday movies this year between their two channels, and of the first few that have been announced, there's already three being adapted from beloved holiday books!  One of the first announced was Christmas Joy, adapted from the bestselling novel by Nancy ...
